Because not deflecting it takes you the alternative path and that’s what the objective is telling you to do

In the anime goku deflected the crusher ball and Jace freaked at that then Burter jumped in and died. So the what if wants you to not deflect it causing Jace to stay in the fight and die instead

Not working for me. I literally have number 4 and also full ki and tried even pressing B right before which makes Goku dodge it and also tried holding it and he just blocks it. No deflect

This is the worst timeline for sure! Only thing I could think of is vegeta would comeback looking to fight goku and because he beat him might have pushed himself past ssj and maybe hit ssj 2 Could end up being around the same time as the android saga and vegeta might take out frieza once more and defeat perfect cell You would hope goku would also train knowing he will comeback and be at the same level as vegeta Just don't know! I love this though what ifs always been a great way to let your imagination run wild haha Thanks for watching 👍

Future Gohan may be more cautious here since he doesn’t have Trunks to replace him if he dies. And if he does, Bulma goes and does the Heart Virus thing. Also who knows? Maybe Vegeta shacks up on earth after dismantling the Freiza force, so he can be closer to Kakarot. This timeline isn’t nearly as doomed as you think it is. And besides; Goku probably learns all that cool King Kai stuff during the Cell-Buu timeskip.

@@celldh0825 You could make a good argument that doesn't matter- as without Bulma around (and the now not-born/non existing Trunks is a thing), you could make a good argument the future arc doesn't matter. Some things that are worth noting because of this change: - Goku and Vegeta are significantly stronger. - Frieza doesn't seem to be around whatsoever- but their force still clearly exists. They would likely come looking to Earth to find out where their Dragonballs went- or who used their wish. - Knowing Vegeta, I wouldn't be surprised here if he accidentally explains who and where Goku is and hails from in that timeline. If all that comes to pass... - Frieza comes to Earth- except this time, no announcement- and likely with Vegeta causing issues as well. - Really big fight. Vegeta is also likely helping Frieza (doubt helping is the best word for this- but tagging along is definite) - Goku never goes to Yardrat- doesn't learn Instant Transmission as a result of that. - Goku and the Z-Fighters likely prevail, but there are other issues. - Krillan, Gohan, and Piccolo never really get stronger- all of them have some kind of big power-up through the journey to Namek. - No Trunks to quickly end this entire fight either before it even begins. Overall, I see Goku really struggling with this fight and also possibly even losing- if not to Frieza, to the SS Vegeta that now exists early. Androids showing up just borks the fuck out of this timeline, which spells doom nonetheless. These "what-ifs" are so fucking cool.

@@Lorfo11 Sadly, no. So, most of Earth in Trunk's timeline suffer from it- as do folks in the main timeline. The key note is that, in Trunk's timeline- they eventually found a cure, however, it was a bit before it could have helped Goku. It got developed at a point he was too far gone to be saved. Think vaccination in a sense. If Goku had gotten the cure earlier, he'd have been fine- but it never came to pass in Trunk's world. Essentially, in the main timeline, Trunks existing and bringing it into the past to only Goku ends up saving him- however, he still ends up experiencing some of it's minor effects due to not taking it before the key date he was supposed to (as it happened in the show- he goes to deal with the old Androids and the rest of the Z-fighters in the anime). It's explained in the show that a lot of people die from this entire situation- but they never touch on who else dies because of the virus really. It seems the key difference is supposedly Goku, as if the games are to be believed to some extent (and eventually the show), Babidi/Dabura eventually shows up which creates the early Majin Buu scenario, but in Trunk's timeline, he shuts that stuff down quickly unlike in the main one. Interesting stuff.
