i agree with you and great breakdown! So rod alavi's so called "flinching" technique should be valid, and not be considered a flinch, more so a defensive technique. In boxing your told to roll with the punches, this is rolling with the slap!! You have to time it right, feel the hand landing to your head and then move with it. He times it perfectly so its effective, some other strikers who have done it in the past have moved their head before the hand touches the face, that's where it's absolutely a foul call. My last match at Slapfight 31:high velocity back in february of this year i utilized the same technique as Rod Alavi and some people try to say i was flinching on some of the rounds. There's no slow motion or many camera angles to pick it up but you can see me getting hit first then rolling. I would know first hand that i was definitely getting hit as my opponent broke my nose during the early rounds but i continued on to get the Win! Not trying to boost myself up just saying this should definitely be allowed if done right. The sport is growing and adapting to new styles! Great matches tonight! -Jon Snow

That was a sick breakdown!! Appreciate it ! There’s a lot of missing footage for all of us but I was cutting down to 170 and the commission didn’t clear me. So they brought me out and they brought Neil in to fight Broderick, but Broderick ended up failing his drug test like a dickhead and I took that spot right back and me and Neil both agreed to fight at 185 . Actually, I think we both separately agreed without knowing each other, for some reason, I think he knew that he was going to fight me the day before , but I had no idea who I was gonna fight. Actually, I didn’t even think I had a fight and then they came to me last minute and told me 185 I said yes he said yes same thing.

Dale is a great dude with a crazy solid slap. Also I can speak from experience in saying eating a club in round one definitely shakes some shit up lol

I think The Bell is more of a star than Turpin. He beat Bata more convincingly in my opinion. Turps 2nd match with Bata was close if you looked at Bisping’s score card and if he hadn’t of taken that knee in rd 5 I’m certain it would have went to a decision. I honestly think it would have been a somewhat close decision win for Ron if Turpin would have made weight, because Ron was 204.4 a couple hours before the weight in’s, but he just put a bunch of food in his belly to be 209.5 while Turpin was 222 raw. I’m not sure why everyone is ignoring the fact that there are weight classes for a reason….

Slapfight does have really funny commentary, as well as some excellent Slap fighters. I like the variation in the rules, just kind of don't enjoy the inconsistent calls.

This was a terrible fight they make they weight class look bad

Logan had finger slaps and Housley did not look to have the power we have seen previously. It was a trash match, especially for Housley because it completely stopped his momentum.
