My wife and I are middle aged. I grew up with the C64 in the 80s but she did not. Last night I played this and she absolutely loved it - even danced around the room to it. I told her, "This is the music I grew up on." Great memories. Thanks for the uploads!

Nope, it's pure 1x speed SID8580. Filter and some waveform trickery is the key for the percussion sounds.

Back then I've heard this track as loading part music of a demo. It's faded out very quickly so I had no chance to listen to the whole track. I tried to save it from the memory and play it back, but I didn't realize it's multispeed and it sounded wrong. Years later I found it in HVSC and was so happy I listened to it on loop for hours :D
