GoPro Hero 3 Head cam footage of the first Mad March Mare Event held at Hexham Racecourse, Northumberland on the 7th March 2015. Fantastic race with some great natural terrain all made tougher by the gale force winds.

Thanks for the video, now I know it is not worth the 3 hour drive just to do this. It looks so boring.
Yeah, it wasn't the best race I have done for sure!
+Mark Glencorse we did Cardiff survival of the fittest and that was boring as can be, so many people standing around to get over the simplest of things. best race we have done, ROCKSOLID RACE well worth a try.
Most enjoyable I've done is Born Survivor and Total Warrior. Born Survivor was the first race I have done that really challenged me. Great race! I have videos of those on here too :-)

Thanks! It was the hardest one I have done yet! That bloody killer kilometre on the hill was an absolute nightmare. Very well organised event though. I'll be back to challenge myself again next year!
Great video! It was a great race, My knees are ripped to bits! That wind was something else!
Likewise...Knees took a battering on the mud crawl and that concrete tunnel towards the end. Always go to love a bit of gravelly mud!! Wind was a nightmare....I actually have a sore left ankle due to the wind blowing my right foot into my ankle when running! Crazy
Great video, thanks! What wave were you in, looks like one of the early ones? We were in Wave 4 at 11.30am, even then it was really muddy!!
