I own this guitar and I don’t know how to feel about it. I wish it sounded fuller when you strum it rhythmically, like the Cordoba Stage. It sounds thin and it’s a pain getting a good strumming sound. Fingerpicking it sounds beautiful though.

Hey man, I bought one. I liked it so much I bought another. Then my buddy wanted it so I sold it to him and bought a 3 rd. one. Cool thing is the finishes are all 3 different no 2 alike. Its a great mod platform. Jack nut keeps gettin loose. The switch nut gets loose. The front strap button pulled out couple times. I put guyker bridges on too.

I bought this guitar because of this review- And I am so happy I did. I changd the single coil to an humbucker for the volume issue - it is great value. thanks for what you do

Hello Enso, I want to buy this guitar, I like that it is a solid body and has a quiet sound and that it can be plugged to the computer. It has 21 frets which is better than a regular classical guitar that has 19. Also I like that it has dot marks on the neck, for better changes of position. I don´t know if I can use it with the Guitarlift support that I use, but if I can´t I change it for another one. They send it to me from Germany because I am buying it from Thomann. Great review Enzo. I play quietly without much gain and stay clean with just reverb, tremolo and a little delay. I play fingerstyle and some bluesy chord stuff. I have an Electromatic G5427TG now but would like something lighter and more manageable. But I love the tones I get from it. Do you think the G5422 or this G5622 is the best alternative? Thanks again for this great review and playing.

a girlfriend of mine brought me one of these back from india, for a £100 guitar is sounds good, if it's laminated it doesn't sound like it, it compares nicely with my other guitars, closest being a larrivee OMO3 zebrano, but i have a martin, two gibsons, a 69 epiphone texan and a maton, so, praise indeed. mine is better looking than yours tho' 😆 i have some videos on my channel.... i was looking for a video like this. I know this is old but by my philosophy i would wait until i am pulled to do something rather than fix something that is not broke. The cons of chaning it are. 1. more time/money 2. putting an S in the middle will kill the clean look (unless you do even more work to disguise it. There is a company is texas (forget name) that has blending circuit for 1 2 or 3 pups ......

Interesting take, I ordered one and I am looking forward to modifying it, Seymour Duncan humbucker size P90s, a roller bridge, quality locking tuners, a quality 4 way switch and associated circuitry, a Dusenberg Les Trem tremolo, and a set of Ernie Ball Slinky strings! I like the slide switch being that I favor Strats, so the layout for this guitar is right up my alley! It will be like having a Les Paul/Strat/Tele combination with a Les Paul body shape, something a little different!

I've been getting Firefly guitars for several years now & must say the finish & fretwork has been steadily improving the past couple years. My newest ones are MUCH better than the models from just 2 years ago when this was made. I'm considering replacing several of my old ones with newer. They're that good.
