For this task I had to create a 'sonification' of an object or thing. My chosen object was a yo-yo. I thought about somehow getting sensors in the yo-yo that wirelessly communicated with the computer. A university project of mine. The max MSP patch takes music samples and manipulates them into an ambient soundtrack. For this task I utilised a Korg nano pad midi controller that can trigger samples and manipulate them using the X-Y touch pad. My cousin and I are working on some similar music. I'm using Ableton to record synth parts live and loop them and he is using a guitar loop pedal to capture rhythms and play leads over them. Pretty cool sound you have here!
