So glad you have recovered. Did they check your Vitamin D3 blood levels regularly during your treatment ordeal? What about mineral and vitamin levels like magnesium, B1, B6, B12, and potassium? A blood level of 100 ng/ml of Vitamin D3 is optimal for most, higher levels are needed if you have an autoimmune disease maybe as high as 150 ng/ml or more. It sounds to me like your immune system was at a low level, compromised, when it was attacked by GBS. This created a negative dysregulated immune system response which caused your severe illness. People don't realize how dangerous having a low functioning immune system can be before experiencing an infectious trauma like GBS, MS, Crohn's disease, IBS, Lupus or any other autoimmune disease. Plasmapheresis, immunoglobulin, calcitriol, calcidol, calcifediol along with multivitamin therapy and steroids can assist recovery. The end goal is to regulate the immune system and shore up its defenses. Vitamin D3 is key in that regard. The MATH+ protocol with megadose Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) may also help.

I feel like I reliving in those symptoms and pains when I'm watching your video. I was also diagnosed with GBS in Jan 2023. GBS hit me a little faster compared to yours, I was paralyzed within 48hr from the first symptom. and yes you were right, being paralyzed doesn't mean you can feel anything, we feel everything but we just couldn't move. I'm still not fully recover but I'm glad you're doing so well my friend :)

I had GBS when I was 8 years old. My pediatrician diagnosed me from watching me walk into the exam room. He admitted me to the hospital, they did a spinal tap and they moved me to a hospital 25 miles away, so I could get more intensive care. That night my heart stopped and I got incubated, then a trach. This was 58 years ago, so I am very grateful to be alive. There was a long recovery, I remember doing exercises at home, I had a physical therapist that came once a week to teach me new exercises and then I had to do them until she came the next week to give me new ones. I hated the exercises, they hurt so bad! Lol nut I became a nurse because of those experiences. They told me I never would because my hands were too weak from the GBS. I think my career of 24 years proved them wrong! Ty for sharing your story!!

Hello plz tell me did you get full recovery from GBS diseases... I am suffering from GBS

My dad got gb syndrome after taking a flu shot. The dr ran tests whichproved the shot caused it. He truly suffered and it hurt to watch him lay there slowly becoming paralyzed and there was nothing we could do. Thankfully he recovered but he never took another flu shot and ive never taken one because of his experience, even though ive been bullied about it by drs.

5 years ago, I came down with GBS. Everything you described has happened to me. I was paralyzed and had to learn everything all over again. Yes the 3 months in intense care was a nightmare but this recovery takes time. You will continue to improve if you eat the foods that help your nerves heal. Continue rehab and your muscles will recover. It is 5 yrs and I'm 92% recovered. You will get there. Believe and trust.

April It's so good to see you doing really well. Of course it's nine months ago and you should be much better now I haven't seen any other vid of yours. I have seen cases of Guillain Barre. Of course you are grateful to the people that got you through this. But I have to say They should have diagnosed your illness long before you collapsed in the bathroom. Good luck for the future

You are such a fighter!!! Did they have you on an air bed that rotated you from side to side? They do that for some patients with Guillain Barre Syndrome. Some of those beds can vibrate to clear patients' lungs.

This is crazy I’m hearing you tell my story in your life ! It’s crazy I too went threw this my Best Friend drag me to the bathroom! I had the flu !! It’s crazy how fast it hits you !

Omggg i too had Gillian Barr at 21 !! In 1997 I just had my baby!! I never met nor seen someone at 21 have it the way I had it ! I made history! I was part of a research study here in Florida at USF and I met Andy Griffin. He came to the hospital I was in because he as well had it but at the time nobody under 30 ever had it and had it the way I had it where it hit me quickly in like a matter of days I was on the phone later and I died and came back. I remember everything voices conversations people thought I was just laying there. I am now a nurse I was the first person to receive plasma pheresis and the research drug that they were using to treat it. I’m curious to know your story I will be 49 this year.
