Thanks for the vid. I bet I’ve been up there about 100 times. It was my primary training mountain for about 30 years. Even skied the upper slopes a couple of times. Best panorama from the top that’s easily accessible for a fit hiker in the Cascades. Always nice to see all the mountains surrounding it that I climbed so long ago. 40 years ago there was parking at the trailhead for about 4 cars, and that was a big crowd. Times have changed.

Bro, the place is incredible, good quality in the video, sound and the editing too. However, and I say this without any intention of disparaging your excellent and great work, I would enjoy it more if there was less movement in the camera or less violent turns, I understand the limitations that exist when starting a project in terms of equipment, it is just something to consider in the future. Very nice video. When you say you followed all drone laws be aware that those rocks are designated as National Wilderness Area (to protect birds especially during nesting season - spring and summer). They are part of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. It is against FAA regulations to fly over any of the rocks off the Oregon coast at any time. Maybe you didn't but it sure looked like you flew directly over a couple of them. I just called the Wildlife Refuge to get clarification because I want to fly at the coast tomorrow. As I understand the FAA rules National Parks, National Monuments and Federally designated Wilderness areas are off limits but it is OK to fly in National Forests. Wildlife refuges are not restricted by the FAA as far as I can tell but fines for harassing wildlife could still be imposed. The beaches are controlled by Oregon Parks and Recreation and they are still trying to work out rules for the beaches and other state parks as of July 2024. For anyone who is not aware of it, if you post videos on UA-cam for public consumption it is considered to be business use and you need a Part 107 FAA drone license. Again, very nicely done video. The AIR AWARE app (replaced the B4UFLY app) now shows at least all the bigger rocks as off limits as part of the Oregon Islands Wilderness.
