Nice transformation Mr Samurai! Buy some Off for the skeeters!
Good idea! Have you priced out the cost? You can buy a small bonsai for that price.
The bonsai trees look so much better outside 🪴
I think so to! If they have the right background, they can look amazing.
Hope everything gets better quickly. Beautiful trees - Greetings from Europe Germany.
Thank you very much! The water is soaking in, and the storm has moved north. Trees are doing well, and I hope your Bonsai are doing nicely.
Oh sir they are stunning!!! I have recently acquired a juniper. Thnx for sharing..
So nice of you, and may you have good fortune with your Bonsai.
So nice of you. Continue to learn and develop good bonsai.
Amen ! 🙏 wonderful video!
I'm glad you liked it! We must keep our eyes open for those opportunities to work with what God puts in our path.
I just picked up my first Juniper Parsoni today. I got excited because there was only one amidst some other variety at the Lowe's garden center. I thought I was seeing things because it had two different types of needles on it. What's the reason for that? It looks like a mix between a Blue Star Juniper and an Andorra Juniper.
Very nice! Since you have watched the video pictured, you should not root prune at this time of the year but wait for the spring. The foliage that is pointy is juvenile, and the other softer foliage is mature, and in the future, all the foliage will be like that. Now, as you trim in the future, it will revert to juvenile in that area. The juvenile foliage is able to draw in more sunshine and does what is in its DNA. I have 2 other videos on Parsons Juniper, the one with 9000 views that has the best information.
😊

Just wanted to thank my niece by marriage for the photo at the beginning of the short video. She was the recipient of a Bonsai from me back in 2018. I attended my brother's funeral and took the bonsai for my nephew. The body building she has done is in full display, but unfortunately the bonsai passed on. Trying to show the constant.
Beautiful tree!!
Thank you! 😊 Nice of you!
Side A for me
Thanks, Ron. Did you see those roots on that triple headed Yucca cutting? Only 2 months old.
Nice composition Terry!
They compliment one another.
Side “A”
Thanks, Dave!
Looks good!!!
Coming from you, I can appreciate the opportunity for your feedback and ask you to pick a front A or B. Thank you!
It looks fabulous 😊
Thank you! 😊
Very beautiful collection and styling! Gratulations! Namaste 🕉
Thank you!
Terimakasih sudah berbagi, ini bonsai yang sangat bagus
Thank you for your kind words.
You have a great collection of slabs
Thanks
Can't wait to see it, cheers
I'm starting the concrete work on the crescent pot tomorrow. There will be some footage.
LOL the runway model at the end was killer!!!! Amazing moves. Great T Shirt!
Fun part of my channel, it was my 2nd take and I wanted to end on being funny. Glad you liked the shirt, Mr. Kimura drew the pine tree, years ago. It's been a part of my logo since the year 2000.
Thanks for taking us to the show, it was wonderful!
You are so welcome, I would like to spend the weekend there going to the workshops and demonstrations and meetings with all the different artists. Maybe next year I'll plan to attend for the weekend.
Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure, I enjoyed the experience of my time there with the different people and the trees. I got the opportunity to meet Walter Pall and shake his hand.
Looking great ! Slabs look fantastic
Thanks 👍
Looks like a great time!
It was! Hope Jess is having a great Mother's day.
This sure looks like a great project and although somewhat simple, it creates very unique looking slabs
It is a very rewarding experience, and I'm looking forward to working with my club, making some of their own.
Looking good 👍
Thanks for the visit. The Cypress Lakes Bonsai Club is meeting today, and I'm going to announce a 3 day workshop for making lightweight concrete slabs for the club members.
So cool!!
Thanks 😊 young man. Be sure to watch parts 2 and 3 of the series.
Looks good
It does! My hope is that all 7 trees continue to grow and develop into a nice bonsai forest. Thank you for your kind words.
I'm really enjoying my Yucca bonsai too!! Nice work!
Good to hear! Our club, Cypress Lakes Bonsai Club, sent a gift to the Toronto Bonsai Society for you in the middle of February. With the snow and your busy schedule of repotting, I can see you probably haven't had time, but next you go to a club meeting. Check it out.
Thanks for the video
Thanks for the kind words. 😊
A t-shirt!! Clever way to reduce weight. Interesting stuff
There are many UA-cam videos that use some kind of cloth to make various objects, like pots, stands, and even rock looking mountains. I just used what I had available. It is very lightweight and hollow in the middle. Thank you for your comment.
Interesting project! Well done.
Many thanks! It was a fun project, and I will probably go and make another. This time, with more behind the scenes UA-cam footage.
my dad tended bonsai's. beautiful.
Wonderful, thanks for sharing 👍
Misleading thumbnails are not cool
I agree with you 💯, it was not my intention to mislead but to look to the future of what can be achieved.
Looks great, good job!
Thanks!
Beautiful! For he is my Lord & Savior ! All Glory to God 🙏 God bless brother .
She's only 18, and her grandfather is Mike Holcomb, former base singer, for the group The Inspirations. He is now a full-time evangelists and I have him singing on video not uploaded yet. Let me know if you want to hear him.
@adkinsterance8102 yes I would like to hear him thank you.
Great idea! Thanks for the video!
I'm glad you liked it! I've been waiting a couple of months to try the different ideas out. Enjoy your Japanese maples. They don't do well here in Central Florida.
Wonderful video! 💯 God bless you brother 🙏✝️
Thank you kindly, and I find myself enjoying bonsai more as I let the Lord guide me. 🙏 Proverbs 3:5,6
Always good to get a second opinion
That is one reason to belong to a club, and some of the members have been involved with Bonsai for decades. Most of us are retired, and we get to spend time with our Bonsai daily. We are having new members join monthly, so these videos are made for their learning, and hopefully, the audience can enjoy them.
Just kupchak juniper Dragon beautiful design spicy tree easy they bodyguards beautiful 🌿child 🧵different design they like national style tree spicy juniper Dragon child because they see speak different design bonsai styles year kupchak 🥰🥰👍
Thank you so much, I'm trying to relate to the Bonsai lovers 💗 that not every tree needs Deadwood or has to be on its own. That even $9.00 Juniper can become a Bonsai.
Mantap👍👍👍❤
Thanks 😊
Nice collection. I’m surprised at how shallow some of the pots that look more like trays are compared to the size of the trees.
Good point! This is Florida, and Ficus is a survivor. I like shallow trays and pots it makes the tree look huge.
Yes, I did enjoy it. Watched it all the way to the end. I had a few bonsai a number of years ago but donated them to the club I was in and moved across the country and I’m just starting again. One of my first bonsai was a forest of air layered pomegranate on a rock slab I picked up for free. This is the second of your videos I’ve watched and I’m getting ready to watch some more. I’m going to make a box for some trees I’ve dug up until their ready for real pots. Hope I don’t spend too much money.
I find myself looking for things I can use for containers and pots about everywhere I go. I'm doing these videos so that I can look back and see what I did to my bonsai previously. I like the fact that I can leave a little information behind for future generations. Like most bonsai enthusiasts, I've seen the demise of many of my bonsai. Enjoy the time you spend with your family and friends and share your art of bonsai.
Hey, that looks incredible! Will be interesting to see how it develops. Good job
Hey, thanks! It's being watched carefully and misted when I walk by it. It's in the shade for another week, getting a little sun early in the day and a little at the end of the day. It's overcast and 79°.
Enjoyed, thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful tree my friend ! 👌
Thank you 😊!!!
Is that soil from Bonsai Jack😊
Yes, I used Bonsai Jack soil in this video and for the 3 year old Japanese Black Pines video.
Job well done
Thank you for the encouragement, I'll be sure, Lord, willing to update all of these videos.
Is this The Villages? I live near here-never considered bonsai at the Villages. hmm. shame about that azalea.
I Google the location of the Villages in the Lakeland Florida area, and it said it was 55 miles northwest of Orlando, Florida. Cypress Lakes Bonsai Club meets at the Cypress Lakes community and golf course. The location is on 98 north, approximately 4 miles north of downtown Lakeland.
Good to see your view’s going up bougainvillea hard to grow here I only have 2 nice tree 😮
So nice of you, almost ten years grown around a dead Azalea trunk, set the bottom trunk, and the entangled branches above might hopefully fuse, adding more complexity to the design.
