I still cannot believe Jeremy Soule was associated with Gaia Online at ANY point. Turning on the OST after years of forgetting to turn it back on, wondering "Hm, who made this?" and then finding out it's Jeremy Soule and he ALSO composed the OST for the PC Chamber of Secrets was wild.

I remember back in the day, I’d sit at the crystal and have an entire notepad of helpful information I’d copy/paste for anyone who’d listen. I would even go help people make it to and beat the boss of the area, then go back to the crystal and give lectures to newer players and answer questions again. It was a weekly routine I’d do on Saturdays. Good times. I feel nostalgic for it whenever I remember it.

I love this song so much. Thanks for uploading. Been wanting to get it on my phone since I was a kid. :P

Ah, so many good memories on this world, Gaia was something else back in the day. Miss it very much.

So, yes, I realize this was posted a long time ago, but I wanted to add some corrections for anyone that may find this video searching for Deadman's Shadow or DMS or Under Mountain or the Halloween 2k9 Event in zOMG! and be confused. 1. This area, originally known as Under Mountain, was teased during the Halloween 2009 Event in zOMG! It was later pushed out as a sub-area in Dead Man's Pass known as Deadman's Shadow. 2. Deathmine was just the name of the server you could join and play on. There were servers named after practically every common enemy in the game. From Air Fluff all the way down to Taiko Drum. Deathmine is/was a bit of a spoiler, though. They appear as mobs in the Chapter 1 End Boss fight. 3. This track appears to have been lost to time. It does not appear anywhere in the game these days. The developer team has been completely dissolved and I don't believe any of them even work at Gaia any more. The one (two if you count Lanzer) that still sticks around for the community does it purely out of love, but doesn't seem to know anything about this track in particular. Additional note: I believe this user actually recorded the audio via putting a microphone right up to their audio output speakers, so it's not really the best quality, but it'll do, lol.
