The FIRST Thing You Should Try if Your Elementor Editor Is Slow, Not Loading or Being Unresponsive
What I use to build amazing websites:
Elementor (the best WordPress page builder): be.elementor.com/visit/?bta=27702&nci=5349
Awesome, affordable hosting (the server your website needs to exist): www.hostg.xyz/SHBd2
If your Elementor editor is slow, or if it isn't loading the way it's supposed to, or if it's being unresponsive, there are a lot of possible things causing the problem. You might find that those issues are even worse if you're using the new nested widgets, such as the nested tabs, the nested accordion or the nested carousel. Or if you're building complex layouts and using a lot of containers.
Well, the first and simplest thing you can do is to switch your browser. Elementor works best on Chromium based browsers, like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Before using Chrome I was using Mozilla Firefox, because I just prefer their inspect tool and other awesome extensions which make website development easier, but I had a lot of problems. When using a lot of containers or nested widgets, the editor wouldn't work at all or it would be incredibly slow. To the point where I had to wait for minutes for it to load before I was able to edit things.
Since I started using Elementor on Chrome, those issues went away almost entirely. Try it out! It just might make your work a whole lot easier.

    Do you recommend staying away from a plugin like WP rocket for the purpose of doing minify CSS / JS? Also WP now is standard with lazy load, and we want this, right?

    • @Reialesa
      @Reialesa 18 годин тому

      There's nothing wrong with plugins that boost performance, so if you see value in using them, go right ahead and use them! Some of them can be very helpful. And they can do a lot of little things for you that wouldn't make sense for you to deal with manually. Like minifying CSS, for example. And those little things can add up and improve performance. When it comes to lazy loading, it's a good feature as well. It just means that parts of the page don't get loaded fully until they're necessary, which can make the website load faster. 🚀

      I don't see how using global widgets would be helpful in this case. As far as I'm aware, containers can't be used as global widgets. And using other widgets as global widgets, such as headings, means that they all have the same content. Which definitely isn't what I want when I'm building a pricing table like this. Plus, copy-pasting styles doesn't take a lot of time, so I usually just do that instead of creating global widgets. Using them can definitely be a faster way to build things sometimes, but it's not something I usually prefer.

    You're one of the most trusted content creators for WP on YT for me now. Another content creator I looked at for speed optimization had the entire video advocating downloading and uploading a plugin that was **OFF** the WP suite (so they bypassed all sorts of security standards), ANDDD it put a nasty logo of hte plugin on your home page! And he only mentioned this at the end of a 20min video!

    Thank you for your video. This is very hepful in setting up the design from the beginning. You mention using % for padding and you gave percents for Desktop, Tablet and Mobile. What calcultion are you using here? I would like to apply % to padding for laptop, Tablet Landscape and Mobile Landscape. Thank you

    • @Reialesa
      @Reialesa 15 днів тому

      Thank you, Julio, I'm very happy to hear that the video was helpful! When it comes to the amount of padding, the numbers you mentioned are mostly just my personal preference. I just found that they work well across a wide range of different resolutions. If you're looking for something different, I recommend you experiment a bit and find something that suits you. There's no specific rule or calculation that you need to follow. The horizontal padding on tablet and mobile, so the padding that separates the content from the edges of the screen, is likely not going to vary a lot, because anything significantly lower or higher than 5% is quickly too much or too little. When it comes to the vertical padding however, you have total freedom to use any value you want to use. That way, you can make sure the padding fits the design for every individual project you're working on.

    • @Reialesa
      @Reialesa 13 днів тому

      That sounds a little bit odd, it shouldn't be happening with this CSS so I would recommend you look into clearing the cache, making sure you're looking at the result on the live page instead of the editor and all of that standard stuff. If none of that fixes the issue, there's an easy way to control the point from which the effects happen. Try this 👇 .imagehover { transition: all 0.3s ease-in-out; } .imagehover:hover { transform: scale(1.3); transform-origin: 50% 50%; } .container { overflow: hidden; } I also have a video where you can get a full explanation on how and why this works and I really recommend you check it out: ua-cam.com/video/sjkgdETBegQ/v-deo.html

    i have added a background image for a container and i want to zoom it when hover how to do it its not working

    • @Reialesa
      @Reialesa 13 днів тому

      If the image is a background image, the CSS in the video won't work so we need to change it slightly. Here's how 👇 .container { transition: all 0.3s ease-in-out; background-size: 100% !important; } .container:hover { background-size: 110% !important; } @media only screen and (min-width: 767px) and (max-width: 1024px) { .container { background-size: 120% !important; } .container:hover { background-size: 150% !important; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .container { background-size: 150% !important; } .container:hover { background-size: 200% !important; } } There's no need to add any classes to any image. Just the container. And we're now using 100% as the default value instead of 1 because we're changing the background-size, not using transform: scale(). I also added some media queries to make it responsive, so you can change the values and make sure your background image is the size you want it to be on desktop, tablet and mobile separately. You also need to make sure that under 'Style', the 'Position' of the background image is set to 'Center Center' and that 'Repeat' is set to 'No-repeat'. Let me know how it goes! 🤞

      I have figured it out, you just have to download Connect Polylang for elementor and then the language section will appear, and also the widget language switcher (it worked for me, so hopefully it will help you brother)
