If you like the vibe, eh, maybe like and subscribe?
Penelope Scott: Rat
ua-cam.com/video/KqyXvMrQDk8/v-deo.htmlsi=SSLlEqYe_cZ4BEeN
This will be a random collection of thoughts I've had recently regarding the richest man in the world--Elon Musk. I used to watch his interviews and presentations all the time back in the day, often with adoration. Now, it's a different story. A much. Different. Story. There's much to discuss from Tesla, Space X, Twitter, Nuralink, and more!
Let me know what you guys think of this video. What are your thoughts on Musk and his current "role" in the Trump administration? What are your thoughts on potatoes? Let me know in the comments below!

    I had a reluctant modicum of admiration for him at a similar time as you did, thinking that he was among the "least evil" of the billionaires. He preyed on the dreams of us kids who thought our future would be Star Trek, only for him to help the rise of the Empire from Star Wars. Even his best "accomplishments" it turns out, were him buying a company that already had a successful product, which he then retconned into being his doing (i.e. Tesla cars). His success is as vapid as that of the President he bought. The other sad truth is that he likely has always been so hateful, bigoted, and fragile of ego, but all of these negative attributes have been hyper inflated by wealth not even the most virtuous among us should possess. And of course, what do all men with power want? More power.

    People often say that Hamas was elected democratically and therefore represent the population they govern; nothing would bring that representativity into question more than election interference from a foreign sovereign power. If you're curious, numerous neighbors were pouring money into the election, including Israel who alone sent hundreds of millions towards Hamas. And this, of course, did entail scheming and plotting that has been detailed and, strikingly, admitted to, both publicly and privately, by the Minister himself; Even the most hardcore liberal could not reconcile this context with Hamas's claim to legitimacy because the clear truth would become that there was no fair election. But now, who really is representing Palestinian's interests? What would interest you while begging for your brother's hair, or perhaps for your mom through the gates of a morgue? Even the words are traumatizing. No war. Peace and love.

      It wasn't even hard to find a decent source for what you're pointing out. The New York Times has an article from a couple of years ago saying that Israel's PM wanted to use Hamas as a way of circumventing a two-state solution. Good points all around.

    I really like your music list because it turned me on to some bands that I didnt know were so radical, but I find your political views very antithetical to the views that many of these bands try to espouse. You seem to give so much creedence to the Democratic party and its MSM allies, mere branches of the corporate state. Jon Stewart and John Oliver are tools of the establishment and gatekeepers to the left. Supporting a Dem candidate may be the LOTE but its still evil, and supporting them is a direct cause of the Overton window consistently shifting to the right. I thought the point of being a revolutionary is to reject the oligarchical system, not make excuses for its "better half"

    • @researchreality7932
      @researchreality7932 Місяць тому

      I really appreciate your perspective here. This gave me a lot of food for thought. I might even add this comment to a future video if you're okay with it. I think you're 100% right about the Democratic party. As for Stewart and Oliver, I think their reporting and efforts are still highly valuable even if they tend to be more partisan. For me, regardless if you lean left or right, highlighting corruption with empirical evidence is the main objective. I have future videos where I talk about my primary sources that you might find interesting, even if you don't fully agree with my assessment. I also think it's awesome that you gained new music from the wall! Do you mind sharing which artist caught your attention the most?

    When you cut off food and water you dont create terrorists, you create freedom fighters. They have a right to armed resistance. The zionist state had a right to self defense on 10/7, once they cross their imaginary border, it becomes murder. Thats how self defense works in US and international law. Also, if prisoners of the nazis broke out and killed some nazis, would you condemn that act like you do 10/7/23? You did admit it is a concentration camp. One last thing, hamas is the elected government of gaza, a 5x30 mile strip of desert. Israel's stated goal is to destroy hamas and they are killing and starving civilians to achieve that goal. That is the dictionary definition of terrorism my friend. Only one side has the funds to wipe out the other side forever, all schools, universities, sanitation services, hospitals, government buildings. And you have the fucking nerve to say Ukrainians are in the right because their just tring to survive. The media makes ppl like us indifferent to the struggles of others, is because they're brown or do you not know why the word terrorism exists?

    The first song I thought about when it happened was probably "Be Quick or be Dead" by Iron Maiden, even though it doesn't fit 100%. But I want to give a shoutout to the 1893 song "La Ravachole" about the French Anarchist François Claudius Koenigstein known as Ravachole. After a demonstration for the eight-hour day was met with violence by the police leading to nine deaths and the arrest and beating of three protesters, two of them were sentenced to prison, Ravachole bombed the houses of two of the involved judges. Translated version of the song: In the great city of Paris, there are well-fed bourgeois. There are the poor, who have an empty stomach; they have long teeth! (originally meaning they're hungry/starving, nowadays the expression means someone is fiercely ambitious which leads to some bad translations) Long live the sound, long live the sound, they have long teeth! Long live the sound of the explosion! Let’s dance the Ravachole! Long live the sound, long live the sound! Let’s dance the Ravachole! Long live the sound of the explosion! Ah ça ira ça ira ça ira! All the bourgeois will taste the bomb! Ah ça ira ça ira ça ira! We'll blow up all the bourgeois! We'll blow them up! There are sell-out magistrates, there are big-bellied financiers, there are cops. But for all these scoundrels there’s dynamite! Long live the sound, long live the sound! There’s dynamite! Long live the sound of the explosion! [Let's dance the Ravachole...] There are the doddering senators, there are the crooked deputies, there are the generals, assassins and executioners, butchers in uniform! Long live the sound, long live the sound! Butchers in uniform! Long live the sound of the explosion! [Let's dance the Ravachole...] Ah, by God, we have to end this, we've moaned and suffered long enough! No half-way war, no more cowardly pity, death to the bourgeoisie! Long live the sound, long live the sound! Death to the bourgeoisie! Long live the sound of the explosion!

    • @neverendingstudent
      @neverendingstudent Місяць тому

      @@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei I understand your view on the AI generated songs - many of them are low-effort as AI enables that approach, but I *would* encourage you to give a watch to the one made by 'The Dusty Show' - that is an example of an AI Music Video that someone put actual time and effort into.

    • @Kuhmuhnistische_Partei
      @Kuhmuhnistische_Partei Місяць тому

      @@neverendingstudent That was actually the first one I clicked on. Directly the first image annoyed me. Why would there be two bass players (one of them with a really f*cked up looking, bad generated bass) and the guitar at the right has some weird tilt. But okay, those are minor nitpicks. That entire song seems to be AI-generated which shows. It's like the most basic shit ever and sounds like the metal version of something my mother would listen to at the radio, some song crafted together in some soulless bandcamp with an overly simple 4/4 stomping so people can mindlessly clap to it. And the video itself just looks like a bunch of stockphotos thrown together. The guy even states in the description "A few more generations and its RIP Hollywood and the music industry" which is like really stupid. The CEO's of these industries are exactly the kind of people who push for this AI slop and lobby for it. There is like a really f*cked up lobbying strategy of OpenAI-related groups like OpenPhilantropy where they scream a bunch about how dangerous AI is and that it will become self-concious and destroy us all - why? First, it distracts policy makers from addressing actual problems that are here right now in favor of some stupid apocalypse fantasy in the future and it allows for policies to regulate who is allowed to even use AI technology - if that technology is SO dangerous, you can't trust some start-up with it! It NEEDS to be monopolized by OpenAI, you see! This whole push for AI stuff is just a way to replace those annoying (for the managers) creatives or at least keep them in line, so they stop unionizing and striking against crunch culture and whatnot. AI will never be a tool of the people, it will always only serve the few who control it and it serves as a convenient threat - if you're not in line, we can always replace you with AI! Sure, it looks and sounds like shit, but most customers are used to consuming slop anyway and it has the exotic fascination of futurism to it!

    You say you don’t condone violence. I suppose that is a wise thing to say. But let me ask you-would we ever have been free from Britain’s tyranny (remember from US history class, “Taxation without representation is tyranny”?) if we hadn’t had a violent revolution where we had to kill a lot of British soldiers and Hessian mercenaries? And if you have to pay for health insurance but your valid claim when you are sick is denied (and some die)-isn’t that pretty much like “taxation without representation is tyranny”? And if our government officials of both parties are already bought by the “campaign donations” that rich elites and corporations funnel to them, so they fail to protect the people they are elected to protect-then what other option do we have? The moment a significant number of us (probably not even most, just a meaningful number) stops responding to emotional distractions, that is topics such as immigration, abortion, LGBTQ etc, and focuses on the only issue that really matters to them (and to us but we don't see it) which is the economy, that moment they lose their grip on us. When society becomes economically literate, it will be able to see through the veil of distractions that has been created with only one purpose in mind, that is to facilitate the extraction of the resources from the poor and towards the greedy. Side note, I'm not saying that immigration, abortion and LGBTQ are not important issues, they are. But when you're a slave, they are not the most urgent issues that need addressing. Also, because they are being used as emotional distractions, there's a lot of misinformation and manipulation around these topics, on BOTH sides of the political spectrum. We have to stop responding to emotional triggers and focus on understanding the economy, that's the absolute priority.

      Hell yeah! I've never listened to Incubus outside of their main singles, but I'll check out this album for sure. Much appreciated 🙏

      @@researchreality7932 no problem and thanks for the consideration! Incubus is probably one of my favorite bands ever. Their entire discography has some other qualifiers, including but not limited to the song ‘Idiot Box’ from S.C.I.E.N.C.E. Each album has at least one, but ACLOTM really spoke to the systemic abuses that were being amplified during the Bush years (that are about to get even worse under Project 2025). Happy to help and I’m sorry that it took me so long to reply - I got a nasty migraine with the weather change.
