I created the Characters and animation for this music MP3 that was written by David Brody and performed by Azyun Connection (Not Weird Al) for Z-100 in the late 90's. I Co-founded a company called 4D Marketing with a brilliant young man named BJ Bueno. This was the first of a dozen or so animations My team and I created.

These drawings are tedious and time consuming but rewarding. I love drawing with the blue pencil. You can see the finished drawing at, www.sketchesinblue.com
Lake Amphibian Flight over a low cloud.
Переглядів 72511 років тому
This is a low cloud that only topped out at 900 feet over a lake. We had to skim across the top of it in a Lake Amphibian to reach a small grass field on the other side. One of the prettiest flights I ever had.

Looks like a very nuce handling plane to me, some planes do bite back but this one looks very friendly and docile to handle. And very quit too due to the turbo equipped engines. The Japanese called it the forked death in WW2.
Beautiful plane and beautifully flown!
Love it 😅😅
Amen, what a great opportunity to see this kick butt airplane fly! Thank you so very much!
I remember the stories my father told me about him being 19 years old flying his p38 during ww2.
ผมชอบเจ้สตัว! P32 นี้ละ.
Truely a beautiful aircraft p-38s are among my all time favorite aircraft of any Era
Those Allison engines sound incredible on that P-38, almost like a muscle car!. I love the color scheme of this P-38 also, the Silver and Black with the red accents on the props. It definitely looks the part! One of the most beautiful aircraft ever made. The pilot's that got to fly this bad boy in combat were some lucky son- of-a-guns to be able to fly such an advanced multi-role aircraft, which was a revolutionary design back when the pilot's flew it, much like the pilot's today flying the Lockheed F-35 Lightning II, one of the most advanced aircraft of the modern age. The few pilot's who are lucky enough to fly these P-38's now are even more lucky to be able to fly an aircraft that is 80 years old, let alone a P-38 Lightning. I saw Steve Hinton fly both a P-38 and a Grumman Tigercat at the Colorado Springs air show this past weekend. The P-38 flew side by side with an F-22 Raptor, doing maneuvers and wowing the crowd! I went back the next day just to see that duo fly together one more time!
The Forked Tailed Devil. I'm currently doing A Revel 1/32 scale Pudgy 720. The sound of those two Merlins perrrrrrrin is priceless!!!
Nice startup but why no wings unfold action?
This was an Engine test. The wings unfold manually and had been tested earlier in the restoration process.
They only know how to start it.
Nice soud of the Pratt&Whitney 😊
Thanks for taking us along for the ride great video loved the P-38 since I was a small boy!
wouldv've been better with a fpv cam
Very good video! My grandfather once told me a story about his childhood: In the summer of 1944 (Hungary) he and his friends sat in the top of a fence. They watched a B-24 formation above his heads. Suddenly they saw a lonely P-38 at low altitude. The fighter flew toward them! They jumped down from the fence and run into the cellar. Fortunatelly the Lightning doesn't open fire, just waving with its wings... Ma grandpa said: "I have never seen a P-38 so close than that day..."
My favorite airplane in the world 👏👏😜👍
95% engine... 5% something else.
beautiful , how it sits on that tricycle u/c always amazes me !
What? No music? How about top gun, or AC-DC?
What was the touch down speed....
Can ONLY imagine what it must be like to have that much power at your fingertips. Goosebumps.
I know it’s for safety reasons, but I still think it’s a shame that the gunsight has been removed. As a probably stupid question, does this plane still have the turbo-supercharger systems? I’ve seen a couple of P-47s that have had the whole thing removed and replaced by fiberglass or something that looks correct.
It does have working turbo chargers which gives it that jet, wine kind of sound on take-off. I've sat in P-51 Mustangs with the gun sight in place and they take up a lot of the view...
Read Martin Caidens book. The p38 could do everything the Mustang could, only better
Whenever I come across one of these all work stops
Looks like the coast of Florida.
New Smyrna Beach, Florida, just south of Daytona Beach
neat
Excellent! Thank you!
He can fly? Super Donkey FLY!!!!
The best static display anyplace I was ever stationed was at McGuire AFB in NJ. Disappointed when they closed the gate nearest Pudgy, I took “the long way” to work just to drive by her. What an incredible restoration!
Look at how FAST it rolls! That has to be a P-38L with the boosted ailerons
Beautiful sound ❤
My favorite airplane. I had an uncle who was a civilian mechanic , he worked on airplanes flying out of New York to England. He said the p38 sounded like a big Cadillac. It would be a dream to fly one. Excellent video.
Sir you are one of the luckiest men in the world ,who would not want to fly this plane if they could
Wow the roll rate is great
Could someone please tell me what organization owns this gorgeous 😻 cat.
This Hellcat is owned by the Colling's Foundation. These pictures were taken at American Aero in New Smyrna Beach, Florida
@@cwissig1 Thanks for sharing this with me. I love this airplane. I live in Texas and recently went to the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi Texas. They have everything except for a Hellcat. Didn't the Collins foundation recently ground all there aircraft?
What a beautiful site . I absolutely love the hellcat. Where is this plane from? Excellent job ❤
I’ve seen the one in Colorado Springs it’s a gorgeous bird
Amazing cool!
P 38 & the P51 are diamonds in the sky.
probably the coolist WWII plane fork tailed devil
Thank you. My favorite airplane to enter a war with. and all time favorite airplane.
Still being a forked tailed devil in the skies, p-38s are beasts in war thunder.
Good video with all the natural sounds, no music. Thanks!!
that thing must have had some balls wow what a great plane
What unbelievable plane well b4 it's time!!
Sebastian the crab from The Little mermaid.
Littler mermaid i miss watch that story.
Very nice 😊
Wow. I built a Revell model "Pudgy" and I'm truly amazed to see how accurate that model was in every external detail. The P-38 has always been my favourite fighter and how great it is to see this one gracing the skies. Great video.
gunsight missing?
Love the P-38 !!
