I see that Shelby, clearly a man of taste 😋 We have a Braptor and a GT350, we’re a Fore family now I guess. The Ranger has the same motor and transmission but I feel like the Bronco platform is a lot more usable and better for off-roading especially with the stock 37s but at the end of the day it’s almost double of a Ranger Raptor. I’m just glad all of these cars exist

just finding this video so sorry for the late comment, looking in to either a gen1 or gen2 raptor and was wondering which one you’ve liked more so far as I could really go either way. I’m in a 2010 4x4 f150 crew with long bed now that’s gonna be downgraded to a work truck and it gets about 14 more or less on average, I can get 16 on the highway but I’m usually rollin 75 or more. I love those ecoboost motors but Is the couple extra mpg in the gen2 worth the aluminum body and no v8?

Gave me chills knowing what the car did

The things I dislike the most are having to ‘click off’ the auto start and turn on Sport mode every time. The ‘auto turn off’ is always off now by putting a nightlight on the back of the console where the rear AC vents should have been. Trying to keep it in Sport mode is still a pain. I try to respond ‘yes’ when I first start it but I get distracted and forget lol Love your videos! Just found your channel today.

Just got in to Tooele last night for my Ranger Raptor School. So excited for tomorrow’s class. Drove my Raptor here from Wisconsin, what an awesome amazing drive! Very pleased with how comfortable it was to drive that distance.

How much driving do you get to do vs the instructor?

Loved the school. I was in truck 8, a shelter green one. That guy drove the lap with us as well. I am getting my tune put on mine next week. Also one thing that was fun to me was doing the side hill where you are driving on a 31 degree lean.

Had a blast when attended in June. We have awesome trucks. Going to watch your video on the big screen. 😅

Did they tell you what’s the max speed you can drive in 4H or any of the modes for that matter? Can you use Baja on the street?

Looking for some guidance here. I ordered one these at MSRP in June and just got a building date for the week of November 11th. It is my understanding that the 2025 RRs will likely hit lots as early as late October. Where mine is being built after that will it then be considered a 2025 model year? I actually called Ford directly and they provided the VIN and build date but could not give me any info about the timing. If it is considered a 2025, I am concerned that the price will jump up at least $5K. I am curious if anyone has run into that issue. Thanks.

This was an awesome trip! Gen 1 sounds best, no question... but I'm biased.

I’d love to see a comparison between the RR and the Bronco since they both have similar price points. Really interested in which suspension feels best and pros/cons in different off roading situations. There is no contest. A supercharged V8 sounds best every time.

Seeing that this video is a month old at this point I am assuming you no longer have the Ranger Raptor. That being said I am actually (and I can't believe I am saying this) contemplating trading in my '23 F150 Raptor for a Ranger Raptor...perhaps as early as this weekend. You are one of the only videos i have found that had transitioned from a F150 to Ranger Raptor. I know you said you went from a Gen 1, what are your thoughts on going from a Gen 3 to the RR? Why you may ask...well what was easily affordable almost 2 years ago isn't so much today because of life changes. My dilemma is that my F150 Raptor has always been my dream truck and if i get rid of it I will likely NEVER have the opportunity to have another one. Definitely and anxious decision for sure. Curious on your thoughts...no pressure. Thanks!

crazy that a $65K truck for off road use, has a plastic oil pan and plastic oil drain plug and plastic trans pan, gotta love modern cars, in 5-8 years than pan is going to leak or crack leave you stranded or $$$$$ at the dealer
