@@herobrain8730 hi there, you can put GPU on this machine, make sure you need to search the compatible one. Since there is no upgrade on PSU, it still runs well. FYI, this PC is used for the shop I am working.

Thanks for your comment, well, I don't know. Somehow, the 4GB DDR2 ram was compatible with HP Pavilion DV6500, despite the maximum of RAM is 4GB. Maybe, I updated the BIOS.

@@PERFECTREFRIGERATION I see, perhaps you could buy new one with Intel Core i3, i5, i7 or i9 (or AMD Ryzen, but not A series). Those Intel core 2 duo is good but doesn't have Hyper thread.

Did you upgrade with RAM and SSD yet?

With 6-8 g and ssd, it's plenty good enough for internet apps, business apps. We have a bunch of them running our business.

Let me guess, something wrong with the DVD drive, right? Can you try to use external DVD drive? Also, make sure you install without the bootcamp and System Integrity Protection must be disabled. After that, try to install bootcamp manually on Windows using Brigadier. If you want to install through USB, you might have to prepare a bootloader USB, because it will help you to get the Windows 10 USB. For example, on iMac Mid 2009 when I tried Easy2boot bootloader, I was able to select the Windows 11 Install USB.

@@aiobio. make sure you use Rufus to make Windows 11 USB bootable (please Legacy/BIOS, not the UEFI)

You should try, but if you want to run on USB, you need an USB bootloader to boot the Windows 10 Installer Legacy USB. But make sure SIP is disabled or no Mac OS is presented on SSD.

@@java2architect oh dear, this is the hard one. I had done installing MacOS Vendena for MacBook Pro 2015. But before that, I used to install Windows 11 on it using Ventoy USB. But anyway, how much capacity does your USB have?
