Here’s a lap of me at Thompson in the Cannoball Storage #44 MX5 Cup car, I love this track and wanted to drive one of these cars on it forever! Finally got the chance and it did not disappoint. The way the ABS feels into turn 1 is insane! And how the car pivots out of the oval is just amazing. Truly privileged to have had this experience, car was amazing and happy to put down a respectable time.
The car was on 12 Cycle VIR tires at the time of this lap, imagine what fresh ones could bring you!

I don’t actually, people who dive on the inside sacrifice their own exit so much that they get easily passed by another car taking a wide entry, it’s textbook “switchback” there’s a couple examples of it on my channel if you’re interested, Thanks!

Great driving amazing job keeping your cool..... 55 intentionally hit you once if not two or three times. There should have been at least some suspensions that happened.
Thanks! I appreciate it, definitely difficult dealing with people who drive like that, only thing to do is just keep your head down and drive your race. Sometimes things work themselves out, in this case that other car got caught up with the 3rd place car so it allowed me a quick escape.

Very very rare to see the fine art of driving like that in any form of Motorsport ,they did not touch each other once as well esp on exits! This was no practice round either . This was full competition mode which shows even more how great these “boys” can drive and race. The entire race was like that lap after lap…. All season. The F1 teams should know the real racers play SpecMiata.

100% this is how the opening lap of every class of racing should look. Sadly Spec Pinata has gotten its name from the fact that its cheap cars and lack of proper leadership in the sport. "they paid to come here and race too" All about the $$$ to the clubs not about teaching proper racecraft or respect. That is a damn fine bit of driving with you and Nick.
