Hiking Hermit

Приєднався 2 вер 2018
In 2011, I set out on my first trekking tour to Scandinavia. Since then, my life has revolved around traveling, especially hiking through untouched nature. Since then I have been on the road a lot in Norway, Sweden, Finland or Iceland. Even Central European and Northern African hiking areas were not safe from me.
In 2015, I fulfilled a long-standing dream and hiked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail.
This channel is about backpacking, budget travelling, minimalism and hiking. I will post videos about gear, food, destinations, trails, lifestyle and whatever comes to my mind.
Have fun and happy hiking,
Michael

Jbel Toubkal (جبل توبقال ) - Climbing to the Highest Peak of Morocco
In this video you join me on my hike to the highest summit of North Africa, Jbel Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Originally, I wanted to cross the entire mountain range, but I became very ill and had to turn back. I was all the happier to have reached the summit. I started the very strenuous hike in the mountain village of Imlil and walked up to the Toubkal base camp, where I spent the night. The next morning, I climbed to the summit and enjoyed the breathtaking view. I then did a little extra round via Lac d'Ifni and Amsouzart, from where a local took me back to Marrakech. I would absolutely reccomend this hike!
This hike was done in 2017. For years I thought I had lost the footage, but recently found them on an SD card. So I put together this video.
Enjoy watching! Please leave a comment, share the video if you liked it and consider subscribing to my channel.

Great video! I'm planning a 5day tour this summer. ..having a hard time deciding between Hardangervidda or Trollheimen,, any suggestions?? thanks mate
Until Dovrefjell falls, it will be Norway! Beautiful.... You would tour the Seven lakes in Rila mountain, Bulgaria.. Great beauty.. Recommend..
Du verdienst so viel mehr Abos... Hast mich jedenfalls überzeugt dieses Jahr den Dovre zu machen! :)
Danke dir :) Und gute Entscheidung.
Very nice!
Wow! That's awesome ❤! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Cool.👍
Very nice video 👍🙂
Mega💯
Amazing nice sound. I recommend you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. When you guys want to come, be sure to get in touch. And make sure to enjoy this sound. The complete update about the journey and route of this mountain is fully written in the description of my video. You can watch it right there on my channel۔ That's why I recommended Moses Pack to you. Because I myself have climbed this mountain many times every year with tourists. More than seven times. Because it goes up this mountain path from my village and I know these paths very well
Phenomenal, absolutely and honestly phenomenal man! Views are outstanding!
Beautiful scenery!
Beautiful movie, nice sharp fantastic views. Can sense the calming silence. That rocky v-shaped section probably was pretty challenging!

10/10 Videoerlebnis. Beruhigend und erholsam
10/10 Kommentarerlebnis ;)
Great video! I see in the video description that you say that Glittertind is Norways highest mountain, but it is actually the second highest, after Galdhøpiggen; which lies ~13km west for Glittertind. It is only 10 or 15 meters difference though, so its ALMOST the highest mountain in Norway 😉
You are right. Don't know, why I wrote that. It used to be the highest mountain in the past though, but lost a lot of ice (about 30 metres high) over the years, so it is now smaller than Galdhøpiggen.
