That's because the sunlight is being filtered through the clouds, spreading it evenly across the landscape and making the colors really stand out! Bellagio is a very renowned location, both in Italy and worldwide. That being said, what most people know about this place is the town center and maybe the beautiful gardens of Villa Melzi, which are directly adjacent to it. Bellagio is a lot bigger than that though, and also includes several hamlets located both along the shores and up the nearby hills and mountains. This one dates much further back, to the Christmas night of the year 1390. The tale goes that several people from a local powerful family were massacred inside the church by a rival family. Wow, Lake Como is absolutely breathtaking! (I have been there not long ago, in other cities.) The stunning views of Tremezzo, Italy in the morning light are truly captivating. Brilliant again. Love the old terraces and the stone roofed houses up that steep hill. So beautiful, and the church . Back then when the people were inhabiting the area , they must of been so happy!! I could easily live in the cottage which is the museum. Once again you provoke my imagination. Thank you. 🇦🇺💕💕

Today we'll move closer to the Alps, walking around a beautiful and quiet valley. I hope you'll enjoy this short yet very picturesque hike. ^.^ P.s.: this path actually continues past the church at the end, reaching a second smaller one not long after. Unfortunately I didn't know about it back then, so we'll have to check that out some other time! :( (It's the red building on the top-left at 02:38 .) About the * at 03:51 : while the main road ends, a narrow mountain road does continue for over 5 kilometers still (a bit over 3 miles). There are some very small hamlets and a few houses along the way, but overall it just heads into the wilderness of the far end of the valley. Since it doesn't really lead anywhere there are some restrictions on it, so just consider Rossa to be as far as you can get by car. That area is incredibly calm and scenic though, so it's a great place for a bycicle ride or a long and easy walk in the midst of nature! I know I'm a year late but I just wanted to let you know that if you keep walking up past the flyover, you reach a huge waterfall in a wooded area. It seems you didn't make it that far sadly. Maybe next time, definitely worth the climb!

Used to live near there in a Village called Rogaro , great place i do miss it my next door neighbour she worked at the ferry terminal at Lenny .
