There are plenty of outfits/styles that incorporate socks with loafers, it’s just about making it fit whatever aesthetic you’re going for. I look for unique ways to make different pieces work together to fit different aesthetics.

@timschutte3961 bruv, you should check out some looks on the internet. There's plenty of examples of this look, many, many vintage ones, too. And even with shorts yes. I think it just comes down to personal style, some will never wear socks with loafers. I do both just depends on the fit

Finding your style Is slow process but you just gotta be patient with it and look and buy clothing that you can be versatile with instead buying clothing that fit one aesthetic/look (example don’t buy a jacket that you can only wear with one type of pant or a pants that looks good with only high tops)

No I didn’t add anything to the paint afterwards but in terms of the paint coming off, it won’t come off completely but you may see it start to fade or crack depending on how you wash it. I suggest hand washing it tbh
