THESE VENTILATORS ARE NOT USED ENOUGH!!!! There is NO VENTILATION Like HFOV!!!! When a patient is failing every mode, You have no other options, and as far as I'm concerned, You should be placing patients on these first thing, when their ventilator settings are toxic. When they are on 100% FiO2 on 20 of PEEP, you should switch them to the oscillator. Not wait to try the RotoProne, or Inhailed Nitric Oxide, or ECMO. You should put them on the oscillator, because studies have shown that HFOV is not just good for babies. It's GREAT for adults. It's what I would want if I developed ARDS. My hospital uses it in the NICU, and PICU, yet they don't use it in adults, and that angers me. It angers me more than it does that they got rid of the RotoProne bed. If you have a patient who's now full blown ARDS, and You don't have the oscillatory ventilator, and the patient is quickly deteriorating, YOU ARE DOING THAT PATIENT A DISSERVICE!! A HUGE DISSERVICE!!! HAVE THE OSCILLATOR AT YOUR FACILITY!!! AND USE IT!!!! If you don't have the oscillator, GET IT!!!! Because in Severe ARDS, when a patient's on full blown VERY TOXIC ventilator settings, It might just be the modality that leads to a better outcome for YOUR PATIENT!!!!!!!!

Terrible, the man jumps so fast to configuration screen. Can’t follow. I’ve never seen so much confusing information in all my years of being a therapist. Too many alarms, different names being applied to modes we already call other names. Just more confusion. I have never seen so much garbage on a ventilator.

Excellent. HFOT is Very relevant in 2020 A practical aspect is the management of oxygen supply which is very high when large number of patients are connected in a Covid-19 hospital. One can refer to a video " HFOT Calculator" on UA-cam as a supplement to this nice video.

When we contacted service provider, they replied apply cath mount, and vents started delivering proper volumes but previously we ventilated patients without cath mount

Our bellavista vents are not delivering proper volumes due to pressures limitations on artificial lungs
