David and Friends...many Thanks for this super Video throug the Engadin Valey..and Passes.. wish I could have been with you...I did my Apprentiship in Sils = Hotel-Maria =.1965-68..and also worked at the Waldhaus Hotel for a while...I did a lot of 🚲 Push-Bike Rides on my own over many Passes and never wore a⛑️wich now is a must.. Parts of Maud to Fraserburgh, especially close to Fraserburgh can be very muddy and wet but still an enjoyable ride. You should try the Deeside Way, although it's more hilly, it's more varied and tougher.

Are you aware that Callender and Killin are not inAberdeenshire

Make I suggest.... to enter/leave the boat when lying alongside, lay the paddle athwart as you did, over your landing step, then grasp it with both hands and lean on it, and the pressure will lock it level across the boat and landing, solid, no wobbles 🙂? Enjoy life afloat! (You can also lay it behind you and lean back on it if leg room constricts the other way)

Hi David, Really enjoyed this video as I used to frequently visit Callander with my late wife. As we have opened up again after the Covid-19 lockdowns, I intend to get up a couple of times a year. I was born in that area, so know it quite well. I am glad I found your channel as I am looking at adding bike backpacking/camping to my list of interests which currently include hiking, wild camping, and kayaking.
