These guys are regurgitating old information regarding steel plates. The process manufacturing steel plates since 2018 has drastically improved. There is video evidence that proves steel plates will stop what these guys claim they won't. Plus, the fragmentation issue has also been both improved. Today's (2018 onward) steel plates are lighter and safer than they were in the past. Do your own research!

A H&K G3. That weapon still working says it all. Solid gun, outdated, but solid one. Likely from my country (PT), Sweden, Greece or even Turkey or, unlikely, Germany itself. We're finally phasing out all the rest we had in operational roles in our Marines for the H&K 416A5 and likely some 417A2 as DMR and fire supressor for longer distances. Last time i saw a real war in my country (although deployed still to Iraq in 1991, Afghanistan before we got the army FN SCARs (L and H and H-PR) and in the minusca as we only deployed tier 2 SOF, commandos and paratroopers, as the UN QRF, again before 2020, the last time, i say again, it saw real war for the last time was in Africa during the colonial war which ended 50 years ago in 1974. I love the gun, but like everything it's prime is long gone and no SPHUR kit will change nothing in a decisive manner. But if it still helps Ukraine in some roles, go for it. Heavy, outdated, but reliable as heck. (edit: not a PT G3, ours - built on PT under H&K license since 1961 to the late 1980's, the common ones know as G3A/3 - fixed buttstock - and G3A/4 retractable Buttstock - were all made in selective fire which also includes full auto fire and not only semi auto - but I do know we gave a lot of them hundreds, large hundreds, to Ukraine)

I'm currently working on hybrid armor using d3 layers and woven hemp fibers behind all of that I have filler layers and hexagon printed plates which at the center have a H shaped link going through the entire vest I plan on doing a little more investing

It's Spalling not Spaulding. Yes Ceramic is better than Steel. However steel plates do work for preventing bullet holes in your troops.

Obviously not standard issued bodyarmor… 6b45/46 are hard but not impossible to get your hands with, other Russian brands like Ars Arma, MBC, Stich Profi are easy to get
