Do you use templates to cut your fabrics? Does the template show where to mark the dots at the edges?

I've been buying the clear plastic cutting boards from the dollar store and tracing patterns onto them, transcribing all the notes, etc. Your technique is much easier. Thank you for sharing.

My Bernina has an extra stitch. Excellent advice. You can always pivot needle down and backtrack

Marti Michell’s deluxe corner trimmer has all the dots for all the angles to include trimming. Helps for the spatially challenged (me!). I highly recommend. Thanks for video. This is 45 degree angles but same process for any angle

Do you treat the edges of the fabric with anything to keep it from fraying from all the handling? It just looks so perfect when you’re done.

I've started to hand piece and I love it. Prefer it to machine piecing. Relaxing. I'm marking my seam lines but my blocks end up too small. I've heard a scant 1/4 inch seam will go a long way to solving my problem . Do u sew along the line or short of it .

This really helped me understand sewing the Y seam!! Thank you! I DID cringe when I saw you sew over your pins though. LOL. 45 plus years of me sewing and having it grilled into my brain not to sew over my pins. I have a few times and busted needle and pin parts all over. 🤣🤣

I'm wondering if you double thread your needle? I always do to make sure it is never coming apart. I don't know if that's something other quilter's do or not lol. Is this product primarily for diagonal sewing or will it help with sewing a straight line too? I see you can use it for a .25 inch seam but what if that line is covered? Thanks.

I use Inklingo to print the lines on the back of the fabric. It simplifies so much. Inklingo can be found on FB onLindaFranz.com. He site and technique are marvelous. Thank you so much for this video. It’s great!
