Protect your Trails! Cover Your Jumps!

When you spend as much time building up your jumps as I have, it only makes sense to protect them. The only real threat to these jumps since they’re on my own private land is Mother Nature. Living in Michigan, we get to dramatically experience all four seasons with extra long snowy winters and rainy weather during the spring time thawing season. These elements can very quickly destroy a set of ...
Specialized Marketplace Find.

Every now and again, I find myself searching market place for good deals on bikes. I came across this nearly Brand new Specialized HardRock across town for $45. So I went to check it out and I ended up buying it for $35!! It needed a new rear axle because the one on the rear wheel was broken so I swapped out the broken axle with one form a trash picked bike that I had laying around. Literally a...

The Swamp Master from We The People
Переглядів 11 тис.11 місяців тому
We The People has always been one of my favorite BMX brands. The most recent years in BMX as far as innovations go have been somewhat stagnant. That is until We The People came out with their newest creation, the SwampMaster! This is a 20” Full Suspension BMX bike and let me tell you that it rides like an absolute dream. Super plush MTB feel with the maneuverability of a 20” BMX bike. This thin...

Here is a simple way to convert your supplied handlebar mount into a useful helmet mount. It requires nothing more than a couple of zip ties and about 5 minutes worth of time. Make sure to trim and fit to Your Specific Helmet while making yours if you choose to. Thanks for watching.
Super Loud Clang! (Broken BMX???)

The Ultimate Bike Wash Hack

Paul from Bike Nerds with an incredibly simple but effective bike wash hack that will leave everybody saying, “why didn’t I think of that?” There’s a thousand mountain bike wash videos on UA-cam but I have yet to see anybody mention this bike wash hack.
Riding the Schwinng Bike
Переглядів 1784 роки тому
1985 Schwinn Predator Freeform Z cut in half and made into a swivel bike or what some call a swing bike. Whatever you call it, it’s a Blast to ride... the seat post is stuck and that’s why the seat is so low. Super Fun bike made from bikes and parts found in the trash.
Schwalbe sell 20x2.6 tires ( Schwalbe Pick-Up Performance Super Defense ) which are more street oriented. Change out for those, maybe a comfier seat and remove the decals you have an awesome city bike.
sick
A 24" would be sweet!
I’d like to combine this bike with that chimera e-bmx, hella fire.
on the female front hub, is that washer part of the nut or are they separate pieces??
Cool, I just bought one too, with mods.. Looks like Royal Oak, Michigan. Modern Skate and Surf?🍀
That a Sunday soundwave ?
Sick bike man!!
Thank You! 🙏
Just built a S&M ATF 24 . Mostly odyssey aftermarket parts .. just turned 49 .. first bike since teenage years
I would jump on this bike for that black friday price! I would have to change the fork and bars to chromoly though.
Not actually a Walmart bike but a Walmart frame
Neeet
Cool, man. I bought myself a 22" for my 50th birthday!
@@honestreviewer3283 Awesome!! If you love to ride BMX then you’re absolutely going to love your 22.
I just bought a Kink Switch for my 51st b-day.
modern skate park . nice!!!
How does it compare to a smaller top tube normal 20.5 21 top tube, and how is the weight? I was looking at 24 in but undecided between 22 and 24 bmx.
Excellent review and I love this bike! I’ve been searching everywhere to purchase one but it’s sold out everywhere, I’m just hoping I’d get lucky at some point.
Choice.
Saved a bike + nice easy profit = winning
@6:54 One thing I like to do when the axle and bearings are removed is give the rest of the wheel a good wash and the nice thing is one can go ham because no worries about water in bearing area.
Back in the day my buddy was a total wheelie meister and one day his rear axle snapped. I'm thinking this here bike u got the previous owner was a wheelie meister as well lol
Hey dude! What seat is that on it? Im really thinking of buying this bike in the black. Hows it treated you so far ?
So far so good. It rides beautifully and I’m really enjoying it. The seat is made by Bone Deth and unfortunately they’re discontinued. I’m hoping that they make more someday.
@@bikenerds nice dude! I ended up buying a new one! I pick it up Saturday. It's the black one with mustard yellow labelling.
I bought mines last month im in love. I have the black version
Cool vid dude what year model is the purple one?
This is the 2023 model. This come in Black also. This color is called Deep Purple.
Lovely colour! I think 22” bikes are ideal for us larger riders. I have a Verde Spectrum and it rides amazing….
What indoor park were u riding??
This was at Modern Skatepark in Michigan.
Nice stuff
I'm 5'7 at beset and looking at buying my first 22"... Would it be too big for some one of my height? Looking at the 2021 wtp audio which has a 21.9 tt I currently already ride a 21" 2015 ok ripper looptail, a Haro master 24 and a 2021 SE OM flyer 26 👍🏼
You could easily ride it. There’s no rule saying you can’t. I was just trying to point out to taller riders that these are a great option when compared to 24-26-29 bikes since the 22” Feels the most like a 20” but more room for activities 👌
@@bikenerds Feels just like a big framed 20" with more rolling speed and much more room.
Really nice it looks like a dirt I like the trigger shifters the handlebars look nice 4 bolts holding them on it's just very wonderful all the way around and a good prophet to I would have had a hard time deciding whether to sell it or keep it as well
Great video Can you lock the suspension out if desired by chance ? Also, do you think the suspension is ideal for someone around 165 pounds ?
Awesome 💯💯💯💯

Would a 2.4 tire fit on the rear? Wondering why the differing tire sizes. Thinking about buying one of these but thats the main question I have
I don’t want to say for sure, but I did try to put the front wheel into the rear just to see if the 2.4 would fit and it did fit but it was tight.
@@bikenerds Thanks- I went ahead and bought one. For less than $400 its a steal. Easily Fit's best complete. Its smooth and fast and very comfy for cruising the sidewalks and skatepark. The seat, post, and pedals are the first things I'm replacing. Hoder pedals and a stealth pivotal. Love the content keep it up pal.
I've pushed the SwampMaster to the limit on some of my local trails. It can get hectic but its very capable. ua-cam.com/video/t8JJpQo1ZfM/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/bu6ZxrlwKeE/v-deo.html
I just ordered this and should be here soon. First BMX and stoked I got it for $350. Esp after seeing your video.
Where did you get it for $350?
That Black Friday sale at $322.99 was a helluva deal! You can’t beat the price. Great looking steed my guy!
FOR REAL THAT PRICE WOW!!! I paid like 530 or so. It was a great addition to my bike collection of 21 bikes but had to put 11 inch bars on considering I only have 1 other kids bike but this bike does not feel so small like my 1999 haro 20 inch with 12 inch bars.
New subscriber here I have a 24” s&m atf and a 22” subrosa Malum im working on and restoring 😎
Nice! The ATF is a great bike in any wheel size. S&M/Fit, you can’t go wrong! 👌
A friend of mine has a Malum and likes it a lot!
@@bikenerds yep 🤣🤣
@@bikenerds that’s awesome
I love the color! It is an exquisite color.
Absolutely!! 😈😈😈
👍😎 looking bike!
And I’m guessing from watching one of your other video on the we the people swampmaster, You got it right from where it was recommended to me at albes in Clawson
Albe’s in Mi is exactly where I got this bike from! It’s a great shop and the guys there are the best. 👌
@@bikenerds well I’m glad you liked the bike and glad you posted the video. Definitely agree, yesterday was my first time at albes and talked to the guy for a good 45 minutes because I’ve been riding the same haro for 20 years, he explained to me the newer technology advances in BMX these days. Excited to go get the bike. Probably going to do the same color as you just because of the chrome decals lol. I miss 90’s chrome.
I’m kinda glad you just posted this cause I just left the bike shop by me and this was actually recommend to me.
I highly recommend it. I’ve since got some more seat time and I am liking is more and more. It’s a Great bike for the price.
i wanna race it at the bmx track
I can't help but feel like the "I'm back after 20 years of no riding" guy when I show up to the spot on this bike. It's awesome though. I definitely like the way it rides. It's a lot different than my 21" MOD.
It is what it is. BMX completes are the only high quality bikes you can buy here in 2023 for less than a grand. So I decided myself to get back on again, after a 22 year hiatus.
I embrace being one of the “old guys” at the skate park or the trails. Cycling is the key to eternal youth and health.
Me too. My favorite thing I heard was "Man, that's cool. I hope I'm still riding when I'm your age."
Nice bike… I’ve got the same one..
Only thing missing on the next "We The People S.M." is the gyro for bouncing off logs and a dream ride down hill cross country trails. Looks Epic!!!
The forks looking like its on backwards has my ocd going insane. I'm sure that they ment for it to be that way, it just dosnt go like that morally tho IMHO lol. Other than that it is pretty fly. I want one
That’s just Manitou for ya… In this situation, the bridge being where it’s located would help aide with foot jam tricks though.
@@bikenerds I have a set on my 26" dirt jumper and that's exactly why I bought them
I want one
Ditto!!
me parece muy fea , no me gusta, por eso tengo una envy
I want it for a local xc/downhill trail
Hows this on skateparks and customisation? Kinda prefer solid forks
