Et in Terris Pacem (choral piece set to Edward Elgar’s “Nimrod”)
Illumino Choir have been working and completed our 4th piece, this time an aspiration for peace and harmony, a sense of looking forward which is relevant to so many events going on at the start of 2021, worldwide. SSTTAABB set to Edward Elgar’s “Nimrod”.

et qui praecess(e)runt, And for those who came before

Thats funny I was just watching another video with an instrumental version of this, and I left a comment saying how this piece of music makes me think of fresh air and looking at the beautiful sky or being in a large beautiful cathedral and then I go onto this video that has the pictures of what I was thinking, so it's not just me then. This is one of the greatest pieces of music ever.

Beautifully done. [for those who stumble across the video, translated, the Sanctus lyrics overall mean "Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might; heaven and earth are filled with your glory. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in excelsis." It is part of the communion service (the symbolic sharing of bread and wine as a 'meal' amongst friends remembering the self-sacrifice made by Christ)
