Bringing Expt 626 to Life: Unveiling My 22" 3D Stitch Model! | RD Projects
From default Blender cube to an amazing 22" Stitch model! I embarked on an unexpected 6 month journey of learning how to digitally sculpt Stitch in a software called Blender. All the constant ups and downs, frustrations, and victories lead to an astounding result! 3D printed in PLA, coated in automotive filler spray, painted in iconic colors, and holding Scrump; it's the one and only Experiment 626!

Going off the ModernGnome head for Jack, how much would you scale it up to fit the custom neck and hands you have on your Thingaverse profile?
I believe I didn’t scale it at all, or not that I remember. I printed it just on a 256 mm^3 print bed for reference. If you want it smooth, make sure to isolate the head model, then import the .stl head file into Blender and apply a subdivision modifier to it (I believe I set mine to 2) this gives it the smoothness. (I didn’t remix it on Thingiverse because of the large polygon count preventing an upload). Hope that helps!
Hi Ryker, you still out there? I see this was quite a few years ago but I am trying to figure out how to get one of these myself. :)
Unfortunately due to this being copyrighted by Disney I cannot reproduce or manufacture it for purchase. I do offer the 3D print files I remixed or personally designed for free! Most of it is just diy sewing and tinkering. So my apologies, I can only help make one but I can’t sell you one.
@@rykerdrake no worries! I have an artist looking at your files. He is wondering what size you printed the hands feet shoes and neck at for your full scale. I was hoping to do a 6’6” model. I’ll take any assist you’re able to give! I think this is amazing!!

The 3D print files should all be up to scale! You just slice and print the files. I do need to add the new shoes to Thingiverse I reconfigured recently in the shorts series I uploaded
I could! But you’d have to pay for the plastic used and the shipping potentially. Thingiverse offers print services as long as it’s personal and non commercial use

Do you have a print file available for download? Also, I took a look at your Thingiverse, I didn't see a file for Jack's head. Is this also available for download?
I can add the new shoes if that’s what you’re hoping for! The head I can’t upload due to polygon count haha. But I did link to the original file in my Jack UA-cam videos that I pulled from to get the head. All I did was isolate it then use the subdivision modifier in blender. I can upload the raw head if that helps at least!
Everything I was able to upload (neck piece, hands, and soon new shoes) will be on my thingiverse. I will try to add Jack’s disco ball version of the head. Might make a vid on blender modifying it if enough people are curious
