Hey! Thanks so much 🫶🏻 I use a DJI Pocket 2, and I know there is also a DJI Pocket Pro which may be even better! It’s a tiny little thing but captures great quality video and decent audio - I also got the creator bundle which included a microphone and other accessories! Highly recommend because it’s so portable - I could stuff it away in my handbag so easily when in crowded areas… have the best time in Italy and hope you find a camera that suits you!

They say late October/early November '24.

Filmed late Oct/early Nov 2024 and a bit of a delay in the editing process 😄 I think the scaffolding and works we saw happening around the city will be mostly wrapped up in 2025 because it’s in preparation for the Jubilee 😊 It’s also probably a lot colder now in January!

I have a residency permit which I applied for and went through a rigorous process to obtain when first arriving in Cyprus and, because I arrived just before the Brexit cut-off date, this was a slightly easier process than for other countries. That allowed me to register myself as self-employed in Cyprus at the tax office. I then worked full time on a contractor basis for a UK based employer. I struggled to figure out the tax system on my own so instead use a very helpful and reliable Paphos based accountant who I would recommend!

Thanks so much for watching! I was in DC in early December last year and did most of my sightseeing on Sunday and Monday. It was veeerry quiet and I think it’s because it was around the thanksgiving weekend and everyone was home with their families! Super cold as well which may detract the tourists at that time of year haha

Hope you had a fab time in Paphos and enjoy your Protaras trip in Sept! We liked Protaras because of the clear water and amazing beaches but I do think hiring a car or buggy/quad is best because then you get to see other places like Cape Greco, Ayia Napa Marina and the other beaches around. We holidayed in Paphos and knew friends and family that lived there so moved there too. Even having seen other places around the island I’d still choose Paphos to live in, although it is getting more and more expensive!!

It’s so tiny! It’s the DJI Pocket 2. I’m so impressed with the quality and stabilisation - it’s on a gimbal so hopefully less shaky than other vlogging cameras!

Hey! Protaras has more beautiful beaches and clear water and is very touristy. Paphos is more of a vibrant city with lots of locals as well as the more touristy harbour. Within Paphos there are lots of areas that Airbnb’s are in demand - places like Coral Bay/Sea Caves/Peyia just outside of Paphos have more beaches and space so potentially better for holidaying!
