We have come to realize that this particular bond is not going to happen. Beatrix is far too stressed by Oliver's presence. We have not decided what the next step is, at this point.

After ogling a beautiful craft storage system that was way out of my budget I decided to DIY our old TV cabinet which was sitting in our garage. I have been working without a set plan and just going a bit at a time to see what works. The shelf pin jig has definitely been the best 40ish dollars I've spent so far.

Our twelfth video and eleventh date. I'm trying to have patience, patience, patience. I do get discouraged when Beatrix is mean to Oliver. But Oliver is so chill about her temper it encourages me. She has not truly hurt him yet, just pulled a tiny tuft from his nose. I hope she never does of course. Good tip
We started taking glass jars to bulk stores to purchase spices, nuts, pasta and other goodies. It’s a bit clunky to carry in but they sit nicely in the cart. It definitely reduced our plastic waste by A LOT!

Love the closet organization. I can’t wait for us to move this summer, as of now we are in a house that has NO closets. It definitely isn’t helping the clutter situation. If you know where you got the closet organizing items could you link to where we can buy? 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I’m so happy you’re sharing this journey. I’ve forever struggled with my home. I find that I get emotionally attached to inanimate objects and I use feigned sentimental value to excuse holding onto it. I think I’m going to follow your journey and work on it in my own life too!
