@@AdekunleOlamide-x7u I started by sharing with family and friends, but I got lucky early on and did a couple of videos that got a lot of views. With those videos I picked up a lot of subscribers early on. Now I mainly use my social media to promote them, but otherwise I don’t do a whole lot of promotion. Sometimes get lucky and other times I’m lucky if I break 100 views lol.

To me the more interesting character was Jack (Chris Evans). He had the more intriguing story.

@Boblovesmovies Thats all that matters. And the review is different. Also some movies are supposed to be fun. I love movies like that. A wild ride that you don't have to think to hard for. Plus the movie has to have other characters. And sets stand out if the villain doesnt.

@@ogagu29 Thanks for the comment. My understanding is the book doesn’t say anything about the parents either, but I mentioned in my full review that I would have liked to have seen something about them.

@@annme7638I hope it does become a classic because I loved it. I’m just afraid it won’t have mass appeal. I hope I’m wrong though because the film is great. Thanks for letting me know about the parents. I figured the book probably didn’t mention it.

@ Though it’s a TV movie, I’m also reminded of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and the uproar when they tried to remove the scene with Linus telling the real reason for the season. So I still have a lot of hope. Nice review by the way.

The book is a classic, been read in public schools since it came out in the 70's. And performed as a stage play in town theaters, schools & churchs. So, it has the potential to be a classic. I see it coming to family tv channels next year.

@Boblovesmovies aye i liked Hellboy the crooked man. 😂😂 Some movies are supposed to be zanny,goofy fun. Or the character driven slow burns as well. Take a cocaine bear or a smoking aces and at least being in the minority. Gave us a different review seeing the good aspects of the movie.

@ I haven’t seen the new Hellboy yet, but I will check it out.

I thought it was great as well. That biker bar scene was very good and I loved how he didn’t break character.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’ll be a Christmas classic because it’s not gonna have mass appeal, but I do think families are going to really enjoy watching this. My daughter had a blast with it.

@ How was your crowd? Mine was dead silent. I chuckled a few times.

@RavensOsFan89 mine was laughing. I don’t think all the jokes landed, but for the most part, the crowd seemed to enjoy it. My theater applauded when the movie was done.
