Element RC Trailwalker Portal Plus RTR
A performance rig built to endure. When hitting the trail, you want to do it with confidence and the answer is the Enduro Trailwalker Portal Plus Trail Truck!
At the heart of the Enduro Trailwalker Portal Plus is our revolutionary Stealth® X gearbox. Although the exterior appears to have a conventional 3-gear transmission look, the inside is far from conventional. The Stealth® X features the ability to adjust the rear drive ratio independently of the front drive across three levels: stock overdrives the front end 5.7% (installed in RTR), option 1 provides a one-to-one drive ratio front-to-rear (available separately), and option 2 overdrives the front end 11.83% (included with RTR).
Feeding the power to the tires are 3-piece telescopic driveshafts with an extruded aluminum center section, universal front drive axles, and hardened steel ring and pinion gears. With the Enduro drivetrain, delivering useful power will not be an issue.
As with all of our Enduro chassis, the steering link assembly has been relocated from the conventional location to behind the axle (BTA). This feature greatly improves approach angle and front end clearance, making rough terrain much easier to handle.
The Ecto Portal RTR features new high-clearance portal axles. These new portal axles include all-metal gears, ball bearings, and a new larger pocket for a heavier-duty inner input bearing. With almost an inch more clearance than our standard straight axles, these axles are a perfect fit for the Enduro line-up.
The Enduro Trail Truck comes ready for adventure right out of the box, with performance-driven electronics. The ultra-smooth and powerful 14-turn 5-slot brushed crawler motor is matched with a 2-in-1 electronic speed controller and receiver. Controlling the beast on the trail is a 4-channel 2.4GHz radio and Reedy Power high-torque metal gear servo.
With all this packed in one box, we know the Enduro Trail Truck is ready for the trail - Are you?

One of the many great things about this hobby is the process of customization. From performance, and driving characteristics to overall vehicle presentation. The Element RC Scratch and Weather feature makes that process simpler. Let the trail do the scratching and weathering or accelerate the process with some sand paper. Hello mate, I have mn128 with stock setup which has 390 25t brushed motor. Can I just upgrade the motor to 550 35T keping the same stock esc? Or even the esc has to be changed? Please help
Love this setup, want one soon
Missing rear bumper? Poor
Never used an Element RC before but looking forward to try it. Everyone complaining about lack of features, but to me that was a plus. Barebones features means no failing microservos. Body posts dont bother me, since I cant just install a magnet kit, and that body is the first thing that will be changed anyway.
Savage truck....love this brand!
Nice 👍🏾💯
Tell me if I'm wrong because I don't know, it seems like in a pinch, adding grease to the axle in general can be done without disassembly. It might take some over greasing but I would imagine that it would distribute itself if it was applied to the general areas of moving parts.
Please tell me this kit can change the wheelbase from 322mm to 313mm? 🙏🏽
I really dig this truck. I don't care for all the politics of teams gone, no Innovation. I don't care. I'm getting it
A few comments from friends. --> What an ugly car! The missing rear bumper and no windows in the hardtop. What's the point? - You could have put a little more effort into it. - A little innovation wouldn't hurt. Putting an old car in a mess and the weird plug-in portals are no masterpiece. - Without any additional functions, without a rear bumper, without inner fenders, without an interior with the same old crappy tires, etc. --> You simply can't bring something like that in 2024, look at what else is currently coming onto the market and at what price. Yikongs YK4106 Pro, RGT Challenger Pro, FMS FCX10 LC80 etc.
Not a bad looking truck in my opinion. Not a fan of portal axels but can see the clerance they give to small trucks . Love my ecto its my go rig for a trail drive and crawl . Body looks good just needs some scale bits bolting on and your away .
😳 Wtf. Element can’t decide if they want to go scale or comp.At least you don’t have to worry about crashing this one first putting.Already ugly.
Pretty disapointing to see a step backwards from Element with this body choice. Chassis are great!
1:46 behind-what-steering ?? And YES 3link+panhard=4link....
When you order your Axial from Temu
I'm loving my Ecto 12 😊 and I like this but that spare tire has got to Go !
Looks great! I'd love to take one out on the trails near me!
Remember the Sendero HD & the Ecto these rigs were awesome but now Element has not evolved & seems stuck in place they have to keep evolving but I hear the loss of staff has partially caused it.
nice
weak platform-weak gears-weak body-weak design-weak customer service-WEAK COMPANY . $500+!?? WE'LL BE GOING VANQUISH!!!!!!!!
AND A BUNCH OF ARROGANT LITTLE RATS WORKING THERE.
Ah yes the high performance 5 link suspension... Garbage!
The front end is 3-link with a panhard and the rear is 4-link. Not sure what you mean.
0:56 it's a joke. They say it has 4 link front and rear but with a pan hard that'd be a 5 link or the don't know suspension terminology
there may still be enough fall leaves for me to DEMO one .
Cool
Seriously no rear bumper 😮
Looks pretty sweet. I agree it could use a rear bumper and that’s what the aftermarket is for. Not many of these RTRs stay stock for long anyway. Love the retro colors. Nice Job! 👍🏼👍🏼
That rear axle is a complete joke. I’d be embarrassed to wheel that thing.
Surely we could have gotten a rear bumper? Thats not too much to ask from a RTR today is it?
😂
I’m pretty sure all of Element RC staff is gone. Its translation son from whatever language they speak. I’m not sure what’s happening over there, but it’s not looking good. Associated is still a strong company, but element is falling apart, from research and development to design to marketing. This is a strange situation.
Absolutely. It's so disappointing. They made nothing of the great ifs2. But Utron was ugly. Zuul 2, boring. And now this shitbox with awful axles! 😢
Body clips in 2025 ?
How it’s 4 link if it’s got a panhard bar? That can’t be right
It’s hard to spot but I only see three links and a panhard up front. I think the description in the video is just badly worded (or maybe they count the panhard as the fourth link).
@@rcstories_ca aaah yeah true overall it looks like a decent rtr I haven’t gotten an element yet…

Release,soon ?
Already breaking with no parts support... horrible Team Associated.... new owners are slacking trying to make too many things instead of a few quality vehicles... and when sales fall off it will be too late..
Cool, I just order my model, but I see there are lot of mistakes in the instruction, I hope there will be a FAQ to correct this. Next there are broken parts during first run, it's not encouraging. I hope that not be disapointed because he looks very fun.
Send one for my channel?
can this run 3s?
Been seeing alot of these broken on Facebook marketplace. Same ol element doin its thang.
4 link I see in the rear
I want one
to much$$$$$$
Mine will be here this afternoon, and I still have seen nothing about it but this ad and Josh pretty much throwing it under the bus?! WTH!! Guess I'll be one of the first to get one, bought mine from the source for the record.
I just installed a set of these on my Ecto, and I have to say it makes a huge difference with clearance when compared to the original axles. Assembly is easy, just takes a bit of time. The rear lockout is kind of weird, but I am looking at making 4w steer soon.
Element has a portal axle kit on their page. I just installed them into my Ecto, and it makes so much difference in clearance and crawling along my tree root course. I would recommend this kit to anyone who has been thinking of adding portals.
Will the portals fit the previous straight axles?
Will the portals fit on existing axles? If so will there be an portal kit available this year?
Can pivot balls only be installed on plastic heads? Can they be removed or installed on all aluminum rods?
Are we ever going to see fox body shocks for element, like the race car's but more scale??.
Am I seeing $400?
Anyone know what they used to get the windows like that
Well, I was gonna buy a gaming rig here soon but I guess Element has other plans for me!!!!!
