Turning battery- powered Christmas lights to run off a solar panel? It can be done! In today's video I show you how I built Christmas lights that work with a solar panel and a rechargeable battery. The battery is charged during the day, and when night comes, the lights are automatically turned on and run from the battery, which is then recharged the next day. These lights are perfect for mounting outside where there is no electrical outlet nearby.

Get JLCPCB 6-layer PCBs for just $5! Register to get $80 Coupons: jlcpcb.com/?from=GAO Saving electricity with a DIY project? It's possible, because knowing our electricity consumption is the first step to start lowering it. That's exactly what we'll be dealing with in today's video, in which I'll show you how I've built a cheap smart energy meter that can measure the energy consumption of our ...
DIY Arduino Rain Gauge - Measure RAIN with Arduino
Переглядів 10 тис.Рік тому
In this video we will build a rain gauge with Arduino. A rain gauge is an instrument that measures the amount of rain that falls in mm of height. The rain gauge consists of a funnel that collects rain and a piece with two "spoons" that goes back and forth when a certain amount of water passes through. This movement is detected by a Hall effect sensor (or magnetic sensor) connected to an Arduino...
DIY ESP32 Weather Station (connected to the Internet)
Переглядів 23 тис.Рік тому
Today we build a complete weather station for less than 50€! This weather station measures Temperature, Humidity, Wind Speed and Direction, Air Pressure, and the amount of rain that falls. I built myself the anemometer, wind flag and rain gauge, while I bought the temperature and pressure sensors, that cost a few euros. All the sensors are connected to an ESP32, which sends the data via WiFi to...
Open the Gate with your Phone! - DIY Smart Gate (without modifying the gate)
Переглядів 2,5 тис.Рік тому
Carrying the remote control all the time to open the gate is inconvenient, so I thought of a solution to control an electric gate from our phone without doing any modification to the gate control unit, but working only on the remote control, thus avoiding doing any damage. Written guide with wiring diagrams, files for 3D printing and code: www.instructables.com/Open-the-Gate-With-Your-Phone-DIY...
I built a CAMERA ROBOT to make perfect videos! (move a camera with Arduino)
Переглядів 2,2 тис.Рік тому
That's right, today we are building a video shooting robot for less than 80€, with which we can get professional quality footage. The robot is mounted on a tripod instead of the head on which the camera is mounted. With a remote control we can move the camera vertically and horizontally very smoothly and precisely. Besides and this there are other functions, to make timelapse and automatic came...

Halogen lamp should be 300W or 500W, vacuum cleaner should be from 700W to 1400W as written on them with big letters. Otherwise, very nice project, and very useful .

I'm always amazed by makers that have ability in many different fields, and then can plan, film, and edit a video about it. It's quite difficult. Also I got the inspiration to try and use esphome to interface with an air conditioner. It uses modbus and maybe can be decoded.

However, starting from September, I will try to publish all of the new videos translated in English on this channel, so stay tuned!
