We went bare poles for about 4 hours the night before on Ceilidh. And then we lost out prop. Not as eventful as our race to the island - but not without it's moments.

It means sails are shortened for heavy weather.

Hey, this is straight out of the camera? I mean a HDR display will recognise this files and trigger HDR or do you need to edit them and transform somehow the files so the HDR will trigger?

Why so much whetted area on these boats? You'd think the aft portion of the hull shape would be much narrower then have a big gunwale flare to get the width they need.

Just seen one for the very first time In our lives! We was out on the pontoon boat and something told me to look up!! I said omg alien's are coming we all got goosebumps NO JOKE🤣 I had to Google what a string of lights was in the sky to find out what they was!! We then seen more the next night! As I read up on them seems you'll see more and more.... It's neat to know and how they work! They also say if you look even more you'll see a second one! But I never have yet

GoPro 10 Natural and Vibrant color profiles are more contrasty than GoPro Color on the 7. Linear HL is terrific. You can definitely see the improvement. Handles shooting against the sun much better. It doesn’t flare as much. There is considerably more detail in the trees, leaves, paths, stones, etc. The 10 looks worth the extra money.

There is banding in the sky of the ProRes RAW image... Lol!

My only gripe with ProRes raw is that in fcpx, once you change the parameters, it applies to every time you use that clip in the timeline and you can’t use key frames to tell it to change. It’s stuck in that setting so I end up rendering multiple files of varying iso and stacking them when the light changes

you shoot raw because of the post editing possibilities and this comes at a cost of huge files...

I have been trying to do ProRes RAW recording with my Ninja V and Sony FX30. The camera is set to S-log3-Gamut3.Cine. 60P. The Ninja V shows no input. If not trying to record in ProRes RAW camera and Ninja V works as advertised. I don't see any menu items need attention. When I select to do output on the camera menu the camera seems to recognize that the recorder is there. Any hints?

i would still choose the gopro 7 the only thing good in gopro 10 is the color of the footage it became vibrant
