Do they have hush puppies?

This place uses green bell peppers in their BBQ sauce. I am allergic to bell peppers, so I can't eat at this place. This makes me very sad because their food looks delicious in all other respects.

I grew up eating at their incredible restaurant and I am grieving their kids closing it so very much. I am sure it was a lot to take on after their parents passed away. Such an amazing family who have so many families memories to last a lifetime. I keep trying to replicate their recipes since moving to California but it will never ever taste the same. I wish I could go backing time and eat at their original location, yes I just aged myself. Thank you to the Novak family for providing incredible memories for my family!

Given this vid was 10 years ago, the Doogers empire has most sadly withered. Long gone are the Cannon Beach, Long Beach, and Warrenton locations and only the original in Seaside remains. Our go-to place for 23 years was Doogers in Cannon Beach, which suddenly closed in Jan 2012. We'd go there after every wonderful beach day at Arcadia and after our walk visiting the shops on S Hemlock. Pelican Brewery remodeled the Cannon Doogers and opened their doors in Jun 2016, so we go there now in homage to our old and beloved haunt. As opposed to Dooger's dwindling business in Cannon Beach which was cited as the reason they closed, PB's business there is massively thriving, even in the winter!

Excellent drinks, handcrafted and yummy!! The food is excellent, I had the salad wedge with grilled shrimp and I would definitely get it again! For dessert I had a German Chocolate Martini and my husband had the amazing strawberry shortcake V

I loved Beaterville, I got to eat there right before they closed :(

Dining at Hubers is a treasure. The interior fantastic. A Portland destination not to be missed.

You need to add Sugar Street Bakery and Bistro in Portland Oregon on this list. Honestly the cupcakes are ridiculously DELICOUS and they are named after Portland streets.... Naito, Hawthorne, Burnside, Pettygrove, Alberta, etc. Thye are also know for their V/GF desserts and doggie treats. This place is so popular and trendy but still a lot of non locals have no idea about it! BTW, the pear/strawberry arugula salad, ginger Asian bowl, and breakfast burrito are AMAZING... Sugar Street Bakery is blacked owned as well as female owned

To think ... two years after this video was made... this place was in the news KPTV Fox 12 Oregon did a news piece because of vandals had targeted and damaged its location several times during the COVID 19 pandemic. It certainly couldn’t be because of the food seen in this video... perhaps because of its downtown Pearl River district location? Location location... location- Portland is an ungrateful place.

I'm new here. I had dinner here paid close to $36 bucks for a bowel thrown together crap sea food dish they where very busy put more people on the poor waitress was crying thought we were mad at her we had to reinsure her that she was awesome but not the food. We tipped her well sent the food back not even a manger came out never again at $36 bucks oh my friend had deep fried oysters looked like a kid tossed it on the plate. We went to the store after got the food we needed to make the dish and made it at home guess what it had lots crab it had sauce not a spoon full it had mussels clams fish wine and all kinds of love we ate late but man it was worth it.

Now closed. Miss this place.

Same owner as Finn’s - just an ordinary tourist restaurant/sports bar. If you want a better dining experience, go to Astoria - Silver Salmon Grille.

don't ever eat at this place I use to work there and its so dirty they have rats, there cheese bin has mold in it, they don't wash there hands, they use bad meat and just over all Miguel the owner is thee worst person to own a restaurant he treats his staff really bad they don't get breaks he always talks to everybody like there scum he even through a plate at a girl, and there food is all reheated .
