He is my friends dad and he is the coolest person I have ever met
Zach taught me how to fight and changed my life. I wasted my twenties as a bug sandwich bum, but he showed me there was another way and saved my life. Nothing but gratitude and respect 💪😎🥊 JUNGLE GYM STRONG!

He is my coach at my school now!!
Coleman was a scrub. Bill is a legend
Hey Les you played baseball with my brother Rene Torres. Long time ago
Forever a Cub! 1989 one of the most iconic Cubs team in our history. Les and Wild thing was fun to watch
Loudest venue in hockey.
We need to bring back the maroon loon.
Although not a household name, he was truly a special player and coach. I sure wish he did more interviews and appearances. Thanks for all the great memories hatch! God bless.
My throat hurts watching this. Childhood memories in that arena. I think i may have been the last graduating class in that arena unless they kept using it for graduations? Made the trip from Los Angeles/Denver for that game, watched it with my dad. Worth noting that was the #1/3 matchup at the time-that was a team you had a special feeling about. Much like 16-17 season the Dogs held the top spot in the polls for the majority of the season. Usually teams crumble under pressure but the Dogs don’t. Fitting team to win the first title
This was the greatest hockey arena ever
hey that's UMD Bowling Green at the end. Greatest College Hockey Game Ever
A man of words and not of deeds is like a garden full of weeds. Great content. I subbed, please sub back rebrand.ly/sub
Worked at this game!! Dave Brown was unbelievable that day!!
I still miss Charlie's.
I don't know Shorty personally but I know his wife Rita. I talk with her frequently on the bus. She tells me all about him.
Kassandra, If your a Raudman you must be Daves daughter. I was good friends with Shorty, Dave, Deanna and the family. Shorty and I would put Rodger and Rodney on the back of our dirtbikes and go for evenening rides in the hills above Simi Valley. Shorty is one heck of a character. We lost track after he moved to Northern Cal. When you see you dad tell him Craig says hey.
Rest in peace Mr. Sonmor.
Those where fun times with the East/Cloquet games at the old DECC arena. I used to work there. Worked at this game!! The whole arena would get packed even for the regular season games. The fans from both sides would really get into (although at times not in most appropriate manner!!).
Mickey Hatcher, Greatest ball player of all time!!
They better be cheerin for jungle
great interview by jon d. he let bill just talk
I was working there. Not that day. Heard about it on the news. I hurried over to watch.. Very sad day.
I knew Shorty Raudman as a 13 year old youth who worked at the Amarillo Gold Soxs team in 1963 when I worked at the stadium as a "shag" ball boy who chased the balls that were hit out of the park during the games. I never forgot how cool he was and how nice he always was to us to let us play with them on the field during practice time. He was really good with Paul Popovich who played 2nd Base with him. I still remember someone from the other team calling him "rabbit ears" which was the first time I ever heard that. Shorty was very quick with his reply when he simply flipped his middle finger at the opposing player while jogging to Right field in a night game. hahha He was just a quality person whom I have never forgot.
That's great, thanks for sharing the memory, sadly Shorty is at Chris Jensen nursing home in Duluth its been a few months since I visited him and he sadly didnt remember much.
unclekennymusic Thank you for updating me on Shorty. Sorry he is in a nursing home as he was one very active guy who was electrifying to be around. You should try to get him to record his past as he remembers it on a tape which might be fun enough to be published. He was a very accomplished athlete that should be remembered as best as possible. I'm in Washington and unable to visit him but I hope you can see him again as that would make him happier I imagine and just enjoy what he can share. If you see him tell him how much he impressed a young kid back then. He might enjoy how positive his life has been. Jay
miss the decc
really quite huh !

"Black guy" played in the NHL, not that unusual if you can read books or watch hockey
Thank you so much for sharing that footage! I was 7 years old at the time and pretty confident I was at this game with my Dad. Wow does this bring back some memories.
Great video! Can you still record games now a days?
I put my hip right in his crotch as he takes a stride what you think is gonna happen haha not sticking my leg out
That sounds like Al Shaver.
Bernie, my uncle was George Treadwell. His daughter Mary is in town and I am going over all of George's photos/articles from his baseball life. I would love to talk to you! Bruce Treadwell 309 737 6921 September 26, 2013
