First of all, many many thanks :* then i will writte bellow what simptoms i had and what i checked on my mondeo 2.0 tdcri duratorque from 2005: ***Loss of power... Hardly go from 120km/h to 150km/h on highway... black smoke everytime i step the gas a little bit more agresive and easely seen smoke like hell behind me. I was hearing something like an windy noise, like an low sound whistle, but only when i was steping the gas, after i leave it under relax, no more sound. Also shaking a litle bit on 4th gear going on relanti (relax). check turbo- - OK turbo presure- - OK MAF and MAP sensors- - OK pipe from air filter to turbo- - OK air filter- - changed Disel filter- - changed same diesel like before all this PROBLEMS injectors- - OK Injector electric cables- - OK EGR valve- - cleaned NO errors on dashboard After i checked this pipe from intercooler (thanks to A Fixo Das Auto) i find an bigger whole than he have, but on engine side, good hided :) Dude, thanks allot.

Had another look at the hoses and found a split in one. Got one on order and I’ll fit it when it arrives.

Very good video. I have a problem when I slow down to a stop or less than ten mph (16kph), where the glow plug light flashes and the turbo won’t activate. I turn the engine off and on and all is ok. I took the EGR off and it was filthy and caked in carbon/soot deposits. After a good clean, the car was better, but now the problem has returned. I’ll clean the EGR again and check for hose leaks. Hopefully that’ll sort it, otherwise I’ll look at the turbo actuator.

If the EGR is in that state, take the manifold off too...just done mine and it runs night and day better.

What kind of loss of power did you feel? I have an intermittent loss of power, same engine. Engine couldnt reach maximun power and it feel like start to accelerate and going down, start again, and going down. If you push gas pedal at all have a very loooong lag. Do you think can be a turbo hose leak? Thanks

when i am in fifth gear,the engine just wont go when i am presing accelerations,its just like i am keeping the same speed,its that the reason? asap pls

don't make the mistake of buying another like for like hose , fords rip u off , buy a performance intercooler pipe , silicone , cheaper and does the job much better , i should know , been through 3 pipes ,got the silicone one and no tears or splits , only thing is it comes in blue, who cares !
