There are a few spots to park - I don't want to say plenty, because there are a lot of hikers parking there in the summer. If you take a look on Maps, you will see to the west of the trailhead on the north side of the highway (where the trail is) there is a dirt pull out and tree shaded parking there. There were more people this year, but the bathroom was not bad. We didn't get to be as close to the stage, but we were also bouncing around every stage until Bring Me The Horizon and we stayed between the main stages at that point. It wasn't great, but it was still pretty good.

Yeah they did a very good job on the bathrooms I was impressed. I waited less than 5 mins it’s like a warehouse of bathrooms and it was f’n clean too. They had probably 5 ppl cleaning

Its too loud, and the drums are too strong for the mic to handle. In the concerts its clean

I think the showmanship made it bad ass, but it's a weird place to play... I've been there a couple times and it is just weird acoustics.

LOL... That's BABYMETAL. That's my reaction the first time I heard them this winter. They played there on one of the side stages.

I miss shows before phones... I thought last year's SNW was phone heavy, but this is egregious! I'd rather go to club shows with local & regional bands and talk to strangers between sets. I don't ever want to see live music through 50+ other people's phones. I'll take a couple of pictures discretely, but only certain bands, and literally 2-3 pictures. I get to relive each performance when I think about how fun the gig was... It's going to sound and look like shit most places at a festival that big... you're just blocking people's views and taking away from the community of the festival. Fuck everyone with their iPhones above their heads. I'm glad Jack White and Tool and others have a no phone policy. Does anyone remember Hackey sack circles between bands? Or am I just a young old fart? Oh, could you imagine being at work and you turn around in your cubicle, and everyone you work with is taking a video? You're there to watch these phenomenal musicians display their craft and half the crowd is paying attention to see if they got the stage in frame; explain to me how that's enjoyment/ appreciation‽ "Yay I get to upload this video on FB to show everyone how much cooler I am than my friends!" - that is everyone with their phone in the air at SNW... btw, Fuck you; eat my ass crowd filmers! I hope you got SOAD in frame from 1/10th of a mile from the stage, ya tool-bags!

Because he is getting paid. I saw them at the Palms years ago and that was the first show I ever went to where they didn't allow anyone - under any circumstance - to have their phone out. I think now, we are just stuck with it. I tried not to shoot as much as possible at this show.

I've seen them a couple times in the late 90's and early 2,000's. Always a great show!!!

@@chicagoui9299 last year and this year. My niece loves them and came down here both times and is a big fan and got me into them... Her Dad (my brother) did the same when we were kids with tons of bands.

Yeah. Vegas doesn't usually have crazy pits. And if there is one here, they are at the smaller venues.

It is just Vegas. I have been here and went to shows for 25 years. It is just something that happens here. Smaller venues usually will get more pits for a single artist.

This is a festival crowd. Much different from most shows at actual clubs and theaters. Again, festival crowds are terrible.

European crowd are 80X better than American crowds. Yall go 100%. This is from an American. I guess I don’t understand why any of these bands had a silent crowd. (Aside taproot)

@@Magdalena8008s yep and in small venues in Vegas, it is better. Vegas doesn't go crazy at shows... It gets crazy elsewhere in town. Golden Knights games are nuts though.

@@jcdevelopment I think the audio wasn't that great from my phone for the noise and where the festival was. Taproot was loud because his mic didn't work for the first song. LOL. They went crazy when we could hear him again.

Most festivals are really laid back and chilled. At arenas/smaller venues is where its at. Plus I thiink Americans are a little spoiled as we get more chances to see bands than others overseas. So you guys just bang harder as in my opinion I could see say Slipknot 4 or 5 times before they even head overseas. Just my opinion

I did not see them. I didn't see any of the bands on the Diablo stage. I was bouncing between Gold, Red, and Spiral trying to see as many of the bands I wanted to as possible. They need to make the fest 2 days, so you can see everyone.

I filled up every time I saw a water bar and chugged water... Just so I didn't have to deal with it when I was in the crowd. It was a lot better getting out of the festival as well. But there were more people there and it was a lot more crowded. But I enjoyed it all the same.

I didn't realize how many people had their phones out. I tried not to shoot, but I got a little bit of footage here and there. But when I was looking at the footage, I saw a sea of screens. We're going to have a jacked up world of communication real soon... A lot worse than it is now.
