Nice
I highly doubt you would respond to this as this video is eight years old but I want to say I really respect you and what you do for a living I have one question even though I’m pretty sure it won’t be answered, wouldn’t the lights and the wiring melt on the dozer in that heat? And I’ve seen some other videos of some dozers driving through smaller flames what’s the biggest flame do you think that dozer could drive through without causing significant damage?
Help I'm A Rock From looking at the wiring on those lights on the log guard on the roof it looks like that’s just normal wiring so I would think that would melt as soon as he got close to any sort of heat.
@@wyatt2920 most likely has some type of protective coating or some kind of special tube the wires are run through. I’m no expert tho I could be wrong.

had to listen to you at double speed cuz your slowness makes me want to jam sharp objects into my ears and through my brain
Gee those nozzles look a lot better than mine after they blew on 8/8/1988. A -13 engine does not fly very well when them thar nozzles fail......yup...been thar done that....
I found pieces of turbine blades in a tail pipe on a UH-1H in 1968. Nobody Red Xed it after the prior landing.
Ha Ha, typical male mechanic thought they were extra parts last time they did a hot end inspection probably! Actually I was lucky. Best crewchiefs and mechanics we had. Only three catastrophic engine failures over a 27 year period. We did something right with the old Hueys for sure! @@i.r.wayright1457
@@nvdwarriorLtc Yes, I took care of the engines in 28 of them. UH-1H, AH-1G and OH-6A MOS=68B B Troop, 7th Squadron, 1st Air Cav, Di An and Vinh Long, 68-69.
You guys were the tip of the spear. Your generation taught us to fly in 1978....and I mean YOUR generation really learned what a Huey could do, not to mention the little bird. Thank you for your service. I was very lucky to have a large group of Vietnam era members in my unit. My crew chiefs NEVER paid for their meals or their beer! @@i.r.wayright1457
@@nvdwarriorLtc I have never duplicated the adrenaline rush of flying a Cobra from the front seat. Once on a test flight the pilot told me to take over while he wrote some things down. It was around 2AM so I'm holding straight and level for a while but eventually there were no more lights beyond the town. The artificial horizon was inop so I started turning left, back towards base, and dived a little bit just for fun. This got the attention of the WO who told me he must have been asleep. I asked him if he could stay awake long enough to land okay. He said he could, so we arrived back at the revetments and he set it down just fine, rolled off to ground idle and fell asleep again. It took three guys to peel him out of the back seat. Here he had been up for 27 hours straight and had made three trips to Saigon that day. And since I didn't have a log book, I couldn't enter the time. Another fun time was when I was sent for a week of training on the Allison engine in the Loach at Vung Tau (resort city on the coast.) On the way back I rode in a C-123 to Ton Son Nhut and was expecting a ride on down to the delta when it was announced there would be no more flying that day due to high winds. I asked the guy in charge of the place where does everyone sleep? He told me most guys just crash on the concrete floor. I inquired if there was anything else available. He indicated there was a MACV (Military Assistance Command Vietnam) compound just down the street, but you had to be MACV personnel to get in. I got the guy I was travelling with and said follow me. We thumbed a ride in a truck that deposited us a few blocks down the road and we hit the entrance. "Just do what I do," I told the other GI. I signed in my name and rank, then copied a unit name on the list above my signature. I handed the clip board to my buddy who did the same. Well, we had first class accommodations, clean sheets, nice mattresses , AIR CONDITIONING, great chow, movies, etc. Feeling quite refreshed, I finished my trip back to base in a Huey. When I told this story to my friends, NO ONE would believe me.
Do you have any flight vids??
Block C to the rescue
Nothing like a D model cat
This is flight that goes up, turns around a few times and then lands in the same spot, covering about 300 feet in land distance, just to let you know.
Would you mind telling us where you bought the parts to build that gear box? I need to make something just like that.
How do I get this job. I'm a structure firefighter and would rather run dozer on a fire line.

Loved the view, especially way up high! Dude you're going to love your quadcopter.
Thanks for this, I'm so sick of jello I've been searching for a decent cc camera and it looks like this might be it!
What is the ignition module ?
Hello! You connect the output of the tachometer to the ignition instead of the sensor Governor ? What engine is on the helicopter ?
Wondering if you have more video of the start? I am part of the Active Club and am trying to work out how the last few minutes before the start progressed from your viewpoint.
Sorry, no, all I was able to get as I just got there.
nice been waiting for this ty
No more late night espresso.....
Brutal. I just found this due to having a similar event happen with a quadrotor and a nearly insignificant crash. What sort of bird is this?
congrats on the find !
Where can I buy?
So stable and clear great video feed that's awesome !!!!
Yeah, I heard that main gear go. Glad your GoPro was undamaged. You say "that's what non FPV flying will get you" But I didn't see the tree in the camera at all, I think you could have done that on accident even with FPV
your house is always so clean with almost nothing in it lol
that was cool !!
We're do you get the yaw mechanism from
Cool vid what HP was that?
jijiji nice elicoptero!!!
thanks for getting back to me , don't suppose you could send me a close up picture of the tail , and do you think it could be made by hand ?? when will you be selling them and how much will it cost with shipping to uk ?? thanks again
Ah, it was from an eBay seller named CSCS219 (wrote it wrong last time). He doesn't seem to be selling anything now.
I made the tail parts myself, and the pads are just left open, don't need to do anything, actually they can be used as acc. power for FPV gear if you want.
No, they are the common Blue motors that everyone seems to sell, only $25.00 each.
I will have to look at it when I get it back from where it is stored, the charger is 12V if that helps?
Been busy this year, hope to make these during the winter when things slow down. Plus I have been out flying it :)
