@Rockwithnoregrets That's a shame 😢 As a UK based fan I appreciate being able to watch the recordings of his book launch sets as he sounded amazing. He's been very strict with copyright recently - he has the right too of course, but it's still a shame.

Hi! I just would like to understand your point of view. I don’t like this song and bc of it I never even listened to the album..but why you say they should be banned? As a cover band I doubt they are making any decent money at all, perhaps a couple hundreds per concert to then divide across to each member so I think money is not an issue here, I doubt they can live off doing gigs. And if money not the issue then they may be doing it bc they are linkin park fans and they pay tribute same as any other fan would do. I mean if you put a cover band together, you’re going to cover songs of bands you love so they clearly are fans. There’s plenty of cover bands…cover bands for alive ppl and for dead ppl and I don’t think they should stop singing songs of dead ppl just bc fans think it’s disrespectful. Maybe they think it’s respectful, and maybe some ppl like to have the chance to hear this music live if they can’t hear it live from the real band. Think of Elvis Presley…ppl can’t see him live no more but maybe they enjoy seeing a good impersonator or cover band just to get close to the real experience. So I don’t genuinely understand your point of view. Is it just bc you love Chester? I do too, and I’m not sure of the new singer, but I don’t worry about cover bands, they don’t have much relevance, they don’t make much money if anything at all, cos sometimes bands play just for free drinks and they clearly are fans themselves or they would choose a different band to cover… Edit..this band does earn something bc after watching the video I can see they have big following and stage looks quite professional..but my opinion stays the same

@matzmr Not all people like Tribute bands, but I actually have a lot of respect for the musicians who form them especially when the original band has ended/ or members are deceased. The ones I follow are skilful musicians, and are trying to respectfully honour them. These artists alone can’t live on tribute money and majority hold full time jobs, and this being their hobby, playing live music & spreading joy in people’s lives for a couple hours of hours every now and then. . This song was actually dedicated to Chester and the audience were asked to hold up their lights to honour him and keep his memory alive.

In general I'm not for banning but in this case I have to agree. This guy tries so hard to be Chester (and thereby replacing him) it's disgustingly disrespectful. Everybody can have their opinions on new era LP but what I admire is that they aren't trying to replace Chester. It really can't get much more different than Emily. She brings her own performance and style to the band without trying to copy someone else.

I think it's just due to age - and he also had serious physical problems last year, last but not least, something like this also affects the voice
