Marquette MTB channel was created to share my love of mountain biking with others. I’m an average rider who puts having fun above all else. I do my best to post a new video weekly during dirt season. We lost another great trail... Two Stroke [4K]
Two Stroke was one of my favorite trails & a crowd favorite here in Marquette. Once Mossy was shit down, Two Stroke became the last segment, ending out the Pioneer Loop. Now that the lands being devloped, Two Stroke is no longer open (July 2024). Regardless, I'm going to miss this trail & hope another trail will be rebuilt in its honor, once the land development is complete.
It’s easy to be upset but important to remember there are 45 + private landowners in this area NTN has relationships with, providing us opportunities we would otherwise not have. Thats why out support is a big deal! Thank you to NTN for all you do to manage relationships with so many private land owners. 🫡🙏🏼🇺🇸

I was able to demo a Specialized Turbo Levo from Lakeshore Bike in Marquette, Michigan for 24 hours. I was very impressed with the bikes ability to climb technical terrain. It was also a very stable bike at high speeds. I loved the MX set up with the 27.5 Wheel in the rear & 29 up front. Specialized Turbo Levo Laps

I was able to demo a Specialized Turbo Levo with 90nm of torque & a 700 watt hour battery. With a Fox 36 with 160 mm travel & 150mm rear travel by way of a Fox Float X , the suspension felt very plush with no harsh bottom outs. Flow & Steady | Munising's 1st Downhill MTB Trail

This video was taken on June 29th, 2024 in Munising, Michigan. The trail name is Flow & Steady, rated as a Blue trail. There are a handful of optional features, mostly on the left-hand side of the trail. Flow & Steady can be reached by climbing up the Mountain Goat Trail from the MBTN trailhead. This is truly sad that this trail is gone. A perfect finisher after the flow of Freak & Smiley. My wife really loves all the chunk, she always goes this way instead of Porky Pine. With Mossy (all time R.I.P.) also being gone due to greed, its quite a bummer

Would you mind sharing your camera setup? Looks like a chest mount. The video was very high quality and stable.
Hey Brian, yeah I’ve been running mostly chest mount lately because it does a better job I feel of showing speed. For me, the biggest difference is the EV comp. Anytime it’s not full cloud or very dark I try and keep it at -1. In this video I’m running 5.3k 30fps in Super View on my Hero 12. I think I also have it on Autoboost. Hope that helps! ✌🏼
Nice to see that they opened the NTN parking area. It was closed when I was there in June.
Impressive riding and camera work. I was quite pleased to recognize most of the trails. The main ride is Upper No Dab going into Chunder Muffin -- right? There were quite a few sections of hike-a-bike for me that you didn't even pause your commentary while riding. Well done. And I need to take a test ride of the Levo.

My favorite trail in mqt
I’m still a bit chicken to commit to a few of the features. 😑
We really need some people who know how to build fast trails. A couple of guys from Oregon built the backside of MQT mountain trail. That trail is fantastic both ways, up and down. Not just jump runs but flowing motocross-type stuff.
Well, it is beautiful. If ridden fast however, what could be jumps land you in awkward ways, out of the flow of the trail. Other areas are tight. So it’s a scenic meander through the woods along the Carp River.
What trail is this on?
It’s a newer section off of the West side of Carp Eh Diem that will eventually cross the highway and add 3 new miles of trail so you will have the ability to lap Zuegs. Hoping it will all be finished up here soon. ✌🏼

Where is the start of this trail?
Breadbasket starts up at the Freeride trail head, the same spot as Bertha, Hardtail Pride, & Rooster. Hope that helps!

Yes, It was near the end of Rough Rock Ridge, start of trail segment names Backwood in Trailforks. Where these trails intersect with the two track alley. Thanks for watching!

Is the lift still slow as crap? I went a few years ago and it was about half the speed they run it in the winter...haven't gone back since. I couldn't handle the slooooooowwwww ride up. zzzzzzzzzz. Nice videos! They are fun to watch!
