    My Greyhound injured her shoulder something fierce. She won't put any weight on her right leg, and I have no money for the Vet, which guts me to my very soul. This is helpful for sure! I live in Wisconsin, so those warming packets are easy enough to find. I'm hoping I can help her on my own, because she's having a hard time of it! I feel so bad 😭

    If you need to use satellite imaging to hunt grouse, you are ABSOLUTELY NOT a hunter by any stretch of the imagination.

    • @t76d777f6d
      @t76d777f6d 8 років тому

      +Wad9591 What a terrible insight. Planning where to spend your time hunting does not make you a poor hunter, it makes you a prepared hunter. In families with a long history of hunting, the places are well known. If you're beginning a tradition of hunting in your family, like myself, you have to learn on your own, and sometimes that requires study.

    • @Wad9591
      @Wad9591 8 років тому

      You're fucked up. If you can afford electronics so you can be better prepared to be a hunter, you are ABSOLUTELY not a hunter. Plus, you'd be able to afford food and not have to hunt for it. THINK ABOUT IT?????

    • @Naughtz
      @Naughtz 8 років тому

      +Wad9591 this is brilliant. How is it not good hunting to figure out areas you can hunt that are prime for grouse habitat?! Spend a day walking with nothing flushing or a day going through a box of shells and meat in the freezer sounds better to me. This doesn't make you a cheater lol you still have to be a crack shot, spend hours walking thick cover and having the sense when a bird will flush and from where or what angles you can take them. Not hunting he says hhahhahhahahahhahahhahaha

    • @bonnivilleblackcherry9745
      @bonnivilleblackcherry9745 8 років тому

      Wad9591 you i am sure are not the best hunter...in my 43 years on this planet those who talk BS are usually full of shit and attempt to belittle others because they are better than yourself. By studying the land with google maps and google earth I have been much much more successful at hunting grouse, partridge, pheasant, deer, moose, bear than i was before "technology" was abundant. I still trek the woods as much as when i was younger but i rarely go home with an unfired gun/rifle (and i dont mean shooting at something just to shoot at something)...get your head out of your ass before theworld passes you by.....seems it already has.

    I hunt ruffed grouse in Virginia and unfortunately we don't have aspen trees - we actually find grouse in thick cover like briar patches and mountain laurel, where normally one would expect to find rabbits. In fact, we find rabbits and grouse together in our terrain, not grouse and woodcock. The Appalachian ruffed grouse apparently lives and behaves very differently from grouse up north (just one example - it is not cyclical according to state research), and most of the books I have read on grouse hunting are not helpful because they are written from a northern perspective. However, I appreciate your video and it has inspired me to use Google Earth to look for denser cover in the places where I do find grouse.
