No the F35 is a cheaper version of the F22 because the F22 was to expensive to maintain so they needed a fighter that was worse than the F22 but still good the only reason people think the F35 is better is because of their helmet

The F-22 has three internal weapons bays, while the F-35 has two internal weapons bays. This does theoretically allow the F-22 to carry more munitions internally than the F-35. The F-35 may have a better gun but I talked to a F-35 pilot I think she was major wolf and she told me that they did trainings with the F-22 and that nothing could touch the F-22

@@RatherEightThe F35 wasn’t rlly made for dog fighting. It was made for multirole combat and stealth for long distance battles. If it was in a dogfight with an F22, it would die every time. And if it was better than the F22, we wouldn’t be selling it to other countries unlike the F22 where the U.S. isn’t even allowed to sell it to any country because of how maneuverable and advanced it is compared to the F35.
