Idk why, but it doesn't really give off a sense of... how to put it, grandness? vastness? that I get from the cloud in the reference image. Even with the lightning striking in the distance, it seems smaller, nearer to the ground, and right on top of the people and cars. It might be the edges. They seem too sharp, and a bit of blurriness or maybe some clouds around the slug could add some distance, especially on the top. The light there might be what makes it seem smaller. The underside of the slug could also be a bit more stretched towards the horizon, or maybe a bit convex, like the cloud? Using a cube first to get the perspective right could help. I think obscuring most of the monster and giving some hints of its existence through the cloud would also help add a sense of mystery. Anyway, I'm not an artist, so take it with a grain of salt.

hey buddy, as Im watching this I think it might be great to include a little bit about your thought process or what inspired you to do this piece, influences etc. I think the videos could benefit from it. In my case I had to use a voice changer because I dont like my voice sometimes lol. Anyway I will check you later! peace
