I know only of Ligeia Wept which is mind blowing. Dianne Van Giersbergen is also crushing everything with her voice and solos. I like the new Epica, but it's still lacking the darkness, the atmosphere. Now it's very light and soft, as opposed to their more sober and mysterious beginnings. Nightwish is not so good, idk their new albums are just not my cup of tea. Tarja is really solid and impressive. The new Within Temptation is awful, autotune, AI, controversies.

Que lembraça incrível, a primeira música que ouvi do after forever foi justamente Semblance of Confusion, Em 2002. Era minha banda Favorita na adolescência. Minha favorita hoje e sempre Floor Jansen, simplesmente a melhor e mais versátil Vocalista da História. Ela é uma construção moldada com os elementos mais raros do universo. Obrigado por postar mais essa raridade, se tiver em seus arquivos wings of illusion, seria incrível ouvir mais essa obra prima de Prision of desire.

And to imagine that she was only 21 here. And that she kept on getting even better up until today. She was already outstandingly good here. But if you then take the Wacken 2013 performance and also performances from 2022, she just became absolutely glorious. What a gifted singer she is.
