Do you feel the recoil lug on Tikkas are a weak spot?
Is this a 34mm scope with low rings?
Wish you guys would allow for different LOP on your stocks
Is there a way to attach it to mlock?!
Will you be making the bastion for a tikka action anytime soon?
Hopefully soon!
Hello Justin. I have a Savage 10 in 308 Win that I may want to re-barrel and change caliber to 6.8 Western. Is there anything I should know before starting this project? Thankyou
Unfortunately, we do not have an inlet for Savage. We inlet for Rem 700, Tikka, Weatherby Mark V, Weatherby Model 307, and Weatherby Vanguard/Howa.
Wouldn’t you want to bed the tang area? I’ve always felt if I’m gonna do a bedding job I want a bed the whole of the action. Definitely want to get that trigger and bolt assembly out. Love the Q-Tip idea. Will definitely be using that next time.
We do not feel it is necessary to bed the tang. Bedding the recoil lug is sufficient.
Is just bedding the front of the action sufficient? I just bought your blacktooth for a rem 700 and wondering if I should bed the tang as well?
We do not feel it is necessary to bed the tang. Bedding the recoil lug is sufficient.
We have the Blacktooth stock for the Tikka, now we need this for the Tikka.
Coming soon!
JD can u give us a review of your rifle. Looks like a Weatherby 307. Can you tell us what stock, Scope, bipod mod, magazine, caliber, weight, and how well it shoots? Thank you.
This is a custom Weatherby Model 307 with a Bastion stock, Leupold VX5 3-15, the bipod mod is our new ARCA-PIC rail, magazine is Hawkins M5 DBM, caliber is 280 AI, shooting 139 Hammers, weighs roughly 6 lbs, shoots .3 moa.
Sick rifle. Is it 6 lbs with the scope? I'm looking to build a 280 ai similar to this. Does this lightweight of a setup make it unbearable to shoot or tolerable?
nifty
I was about to start hollering about compound in the screw hole… then you did that incredibly simple trick with the q-tip (which I have not seen anyone else do)… and now I am struggling to come up with a reason why I should not be impressed with your method. This is one of the cleanest and simplest bedding jobs I have watched online. You made that look very easy. I’m prepping for my first DIY bedding and was thinking of sourcing threaded studs to protect the action screw holes. Now you have me feeling tempted to just use qtips. 🤔
guys, will this stock accept a varbon six bull barrel?
We would need the dimensions of that barrel to verify fitment.
Thanks for the video.
Savage 110 inlet please! 😅
Totally annoying background racket!!
Pretty sloppy job. This stock is definitely not worth the price tag. You people are gouging. Come back down to planet Earth lol!!
Pretty worth it to me and alot of others lol
They are extremely nice in person. Quit being poor
I can attest to how awesome these stocks are in person.
These stocks are great. I will agree with the sloppy part, also no rear bedding?
But you will spend more money on a McMillan and that is better? Right
YES!! You guys finally made a Tikka version. Order incoming
Nice😊😊😊👍👍🤒
Is the bottom forend flat? Are you able to add arca rail in front of mag box and pic rail to forend?
The forend has a flat bottom but has rounded edges. Yes you would be able to add those accessories.
When will these stock be available for tikka action...???
