    I dont recall hearing the word "autoflower" once. I can't imagine anything going into flower after 14 days except a clone. I vegged this current photoperiod for 90 days !

  • @Prometheuss.cannabis.corner

    Flipping from clone will only work with certain cuts. It's hard to get nice buds with wispy stems. A 7 day veg minium IMHO.

    How long is stretch and afterwards plants swell up ?

    • @pipphorticulture2760
      @pipphorticulture2760 3 дні тому

      The stretch phase occurs during the first 2-3 weeks of the flowering cycle where plants can double or even triple in size. Bud site will begin to form, starting with pistil development, and after stretch is complete you will focus on the swelling and bulking of those flower sites to get the biggest yield.

    When you flip an auto from 18 to 13 hrs of light does that tell the auto to stretch?

    • @johnpopke1365
      @johnpopke1365 16 днів тому

      No an auto will stretch whether your change the light schedule or not. Run your auto on 18/6 start to finish

    • @joshtunney6674
      @joshtunney6674 12 днів тому

      Autos will also change flower schedules if they get stressed, stunted or even if they hit the bottom of their pot that you started them in. This is why so many people plant them in a final resting pot from day one. But its also one of the reasons i dont grow autos. Ruderalis is simply just a worse version of a photoperiod in every single manner of speaking. You cant really clone autos and seeds are expensive. And its a guarentee out of every pack you buy youll get a couple runts, have some user error, maybe some unforseen mistakes. Its just not worth the money. Nowadays you can get what are called fast flowering which are hybrids and do have some ruderalis in them but not enough to makw them autoflower. But change how quickly your full flowering peeillriod is. Also you can take cuttings, have stronger percentages, better genetics. Just makes me think even with the advancements we are seeing with some autos they arent worth running inside at the cost of hydro and man hours. Outside i can see a possible use for them

    Organic cultivation is a best for less tier height. Because high sulphur in water. I’m use 1.25m for tier heights now, but more potential for me about 0.65m per tier. I’m use organic rdwc. No veg strategy with classic clones and tc

  • @aaronwilliams6812
    @aaronwilliams6812 22 дні тому

    So, according to your podcast, we should veg in smaller pots and transfer to bigger pots when ready for flowering, right?

    • @pipphorticulture2760
      @pipphorticulture2760 3 дні тому

      In general, yes, this method of transplanting to a larger substrate volume in flower allows for more rapid root growth and easier management of the rootzone during the different growth stages. However, "potting up" to a larger substrate from veg to flower largely depends on your planting density and your target plant size, it may not be necessary if you are running a high plant density and small plants.

    Bigger pots doesnt mean it takes longer to root the same area compared to smaller pots. Youll get a more established plant planting direct in a 3gal vs a solo cup and uppotting in the same amount of time.

    You want your plant to end up 48 inchs in flower so Veg planet should be around 27 inch when put in flower, a flower stage is 21 days 3 weeks till it does not grow anymore height, why would you not at least get between 4 to 8 oz`s or more per plant with 12 plants in flower to get the yield you need to cover your cost plus profits ??? so veg last till the plant gets to the right height there is no specific time if you are a pro or Master Grower.

      I guess if it works for them. I just harvest 6-8 photo plants at a time. Perpetual 10-12 week cycle. For photos, when I start from seed, it'll take me 6 months from seed to go into cvault. I'll clone it & perpetual there-after, every 10-12 weeks from Veg Tent, to Flower room, to cvault, getting new clones halfway through every Veg. 13 weeks for my auto flower tent from seed to cvault. I normally just use 3 gallon, sometimes 5, on both photos and autos. It covers my personal bud needs & happy with low work.

    • @oweyougrams
      @oweyougrams Місяць тому

      @derrickmason7482 True but by the time your clones go into the Flower tent, you should only have to veg them for 2 weeks before flipping to flower...I like your method as well.

    • @pipphorticulture2760

      @thomasneedham8003 for a better understanding of how the Vertical Air Solutions (VAS) product functions we’d recommend checking out our website at www.verticalairsolutions.com. The images on the website should help clarify how the system works. In this video, James was comparing the performance of a horizontal in-rack airflow fan versus our Vertical Air Solutions in-rack airflow system. James compared the relative humidities at the back of the rows showing that the VAS system was more efficient at moving the cool/dry air down the length of the rack resulting in a more consistent climate for the plants. The supply for the AC’s and the dehumidifiers are located in the front of the room/row where the intake for the VAS system can capture that cool/dry air and deliver evenly it down the length of the racking system. The returns for the AC are located at the back of the room where hot/humid air is recirculated through ductwork, conditioned, and delivered back to the front of the room completing the airflow loop. We hope this helps clear up your questions!

    That didn’t prove a thing. Also, someone needs to discuss where the buildup of air is exhausted from. If you pump air in along a 40’ row, the air in the center has 20’ to the nearest edge to exit, meaning the edge velocity will be way higher than the core velocity.
