It can not match with performance of an AV receiver and separate speakers. But, Q990b is the best Dolby atmos soundbar avaliable in the market currently. If you want a compact system without compromising with the sound quality and you don't have enough space to set up a full home theater with individual speakers, Q990b could be the best alternative you can look for.

LG oled is fine and you would not face any compatibility issue. But you won't be able to turn on Q-symphony feature and wireless Dolby Atmos (which is exclusive for 2022 neo qled Samsung TV).

No. Samsung has taken care of this issue this time. I am using it for 4 months and it's working flawlessly. No disconnection issue at all.

The surround speakers are much optimized and balanced in Q990B. I could not find any issue with it. You can check the surround performance by playing DD+, DTS:X and Dolby Atmos Demo tracks. If you don't get the demo Discs, these tracks can be downloaded from some websites. Even you can try Spotify or Tidal apps to check its surround stage. These two apps are known to be the best for listening 24 bit HiFi audio tracks. If you are still not satisfied with the surround performance, please contact Samsung coustomer care.

Good choice! I have been using it for 2 weeks. I couldn't find any firmware and technical issues. This soundbar is absolutely fantastic!

@@desicoupleinamerica3685 Thank you for your fast reply! Which firmware is currently installed? And do you use features like built-in alexa? In official Samsung forum there are many people reporting of issues that aren't acceptable for a flagship product which costs over 1200€ normally.

@@XxWoodyxX91 The current firmware version of my soundbar is 1008.2. I disabled the built-in Alexa in the soundbar because I use other dedicated devices that work better with Amazon alexa. Enabling Alexa feature on all devices will create unnecessary crosstalk between devices. Amazon Alexa works flawlessly with this soundbar.

Congratulations 🎊. Here in the USA it's called Q990B. They both have same specifications. The HDMI cable supplied with the system is ultra high speed HDMI cable v2.1. You need to buy speaker stands separately to place rear speakers behind your seating area. Check the manual for recommended speaker layout for optimal listening experience. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂.
