I forgot to say that a lot of people will want a button compass with their kit . I've heard experts say that a cheap button compass isn't dependable so you will get lost and that's the number one cause of death in survival situations. For an affordable alternative to a button compass, (still not great) Google recommends a Sun Company Slip-On Wrist Compass for Watch Band. They are about $11 but if you buy in bulk it may be a lot cheaper .

CORRECTION: OK so the 3 tooled Lumberjack was a Victorinox but they re-released it as the Walker . There was a Wenger Lumberjack but it had more than 3 tools, one of them being a corkscrew. It's easy to get lost in all of it . I don't even remember the 80's lol . But remember: I am not an expert, these videos are just for entertainment

It turns out you can only boil water in aluminum foil once or twice. If you use it more than that then the foil can get unto the water you drink . That's why my channel and video descriptions say "I am not an expert, these videos are just for entertainment" ... thanks for watching

What I meant to say about the 2cnd kit was that I selected 6 items that the experts always recommend you carry on you when you go to the woods, like a way to start fire even if it's just a pack of matches. Knife even just a small folder, at least 6 feet of paracord, a container, some say a flashlight and then I just threw in aqua tabs .

Several things I failed to mention on this video:: The youtube short video I mentioned at the end has a bowl using a square foot of tin foil is named : My DIY Pocket Altoids Tin Survival Kit .. it only shows it for a second but once you see it you can search around to see the full version on how to make it . That little Shrade Imperial knife was the smallest one of a 3 pack I got new on Ebay for I think about 12 bucks . It's easy to find . You can usually find the medium knife on its own for I think 9 bucks and it fits into an Altoid or Sucrets tin easy . The largest of the 3 pack barely fits in an Altoid and it has to be diagonal in the tin in order to fit.
