Triumph Speed 400 takes on the mountain roads!
#Triumph Mangalore had organised a #ride and all the Triumph owners were invited. The route took us through some of the most beautiful and, quite frankly narrow #mountain #roads & #curves.

I also wanted to see how the Speed 400 helps regain my confidence while riding in the mountain curves. This ride helped, but I need to do more of these. Observations: 1) I am too slow to take the corners 2) Don't have enough confidence in the tyres to increase the approach and lean angles 3) To scared to go closer to the middle road to have more attack speed Probable solution 1) Maybe do it more often, more corners, more saddle time 2) A track day might help 3) Have to be more familiar with the road, more saddle time What more do you guys think I should be improving upon?
Are there any things which we should out for after service and should we need to get the bike checked up between 2 services?
Nothing as such. Maybe keeping the chain lubed and clean is the only thing to do regularly. The service center guy did tell me to keep an eye for the engine oil level, but it's fine for me.

The Speed 400 finally made it to the first service. I had some complaints which I wanted to be taken care of and some stuff to be done to the bike. But were they all addressed? Check it out to know more

How is the Sales and behaviour of Autogenika Khivraj? I am considering the Speed 400, but am hearing too many ngative stories of this particular dealership. can you please shed some light? Thank you.
They are professional with me. Any questions or queries which I had was promptly handled and dealt with. Will go for the first service in Dec. Will definitely post if something feels off. P.S: I hope you were talking about Keerthi Triumph and not Autogenika.
@@thesuperbikesaga765 I was talking about Autogenika Khivraj, there were reports of their high-handed behaviour and unprofessional approach, even regarding pricing, especially with the Bangalore showroom. They have now opened the Mangalore one. People movedthe booking from them to Keerthi. So that's why I asked you. Thank you for responding. Enjoy the new bike.
I have had a pleasant experience with the Mangalore branch. Hopefully it will be the same for the rest. B'lore, I am not sure. It should not have been the case, but if it's there, it's not a good look on them.
This is my biggest fear ..
Of slowly loosing saddle time?? Sooner or later it's going to happen. The only way to keep it from consuming you is to keep the love for riding always burning in your heart
I sold a vstrom 650 and bought a Hero Impulse 150cc...which i used for 7yrs happily. It's not what you ride, but how n where you ride to...
Smaller bikes are fun indeed. That is why I am planning to actually go for a smaller bike to enjoy the riding experience rather than get intimidated by the motorcycle itself.
It's totally fine that you sold your bike, change can be really refreshing, and starting with a completely different motorcycle sounds like a great idea which might reignite the spark of riding motorcycles again which at the moment might be missing. It’ll give you a chance to explore and enjoy riding in a new way. Excited to see what you choose next, but more importantly happy to see a fellow rider giving his passion another chance instead of just giving up. Cheers!
Precisely. When you are not enjoying riding, no matter how good a motorcycle is, it won't bring happiness to you. As for the next ride, I already have bought it and building a relationship with it for about a month. Hopefully I will get some more saddle time on it before I reveal it here. Hint: Its fun to ride it around!!
I let go of my Triumph Street Triple R after a lot of to & fro. Hopefully would be the last time I do it.

The first ride of 2023, with a motive in mind & a goal in sight. We go to Kalasa via the Kudremukh National Park. With an aim to revisit, reset and revitalize for more and more riding.
