TheFatRat - Mayday | Piano Cover Preview
I ran into @TheFatRat's Mayday when I was exploring around osu beatmaps, and there's one particular map that somehow matches well with the intensity of the song itself. That got me curious if I could actually do the same on a piano cover. So I did some research on the various existing covers and tried to think of a way to add/remove certain elements while maintaining the original.
One good example is the arpeggios at 0:56, it may sound like a loop but in actuality there are a few different patterns that keep the song fresh to listen to. A lot of covers seemed to overlook this pattern and went along with the chord progression that was given; even I was guilty of missing out the detail as was shown in the intro (Though I decided not to change it as a reminder to do it on the final product) and revised my work in the middle section of the whole preview.
I have plenty of time this week and will be making quite a number of interesting uploads this month! Then proceed to take a brief break on December! (Of course, with scheduled uploads)
