got a few problems one you lifted the shingle higher than 45 degrees just looking for the nails so insurance would automatically fail your repair attempt but also if you just inspected it why are you doing a repair attempt before insurance agrees to damage

How NOT to tarp a roof. Why put a 6x8 tarp over 1 damaged shingle when all you need is 8"x40" or even small to cover that exposed nail. You could have repaired that shingle in less time than you've spent over tarping if you were really honest.

What do you do about all the new holes you just made with those nails(cats nails?)?!

Bucket 🪣 OF seal tar what have to use hopefully every other year where ever on Roof. Needs.? Like to TAR the whole Roof Top of the shingles

I put TAR over top of. ..seems..to seals from leaks . Don't have money for a roof ..so do here and there . In different areas... Mobile home

If you can walk on your roof, replacing a damage shingle is the simplest project you could have around the house. Why are we empowering all these crooked roofing contractors.

You make it look so easy. The shingles on our roof have been there (16) years and are tighter than a maximum security cell. How do you avoid scuffing asphalt shingles on a hot day? And what are you wearing on your shoes?
